“I used the hotel as I was going to the US Navy Ball and I just wanted a basic room to sleep in and thats what I got it is perfect for someone who just wants to use it for sleeping. The attractions are about 7 miles away which I guess isnt al that bad.”

“The hotel is adequate and will do in a pinch. However, it is location claim as Annapolis is erroneous. It is no where near the town center of Annapolis. Nor is it even in the surrounding environs that I would consider of interest in Annapolis. Anything north of Annapolis is hard to reach and not convenient to Annapolis at all. Anything south of Annapolis at least has some interest and is easier to get to the waterfront area and attractions. This hotel is just off the highway (noise if you are in the front to the hotel) north of Annapolis. Fine for a business traveler who will be accessing rt 50/301 on their trip, but not a place for anyone who wants to visit Annapolis.”

“Overall, the hotel was decent. It was about 15-20 minutes from downtown Annapolis. It was easy to drive to town, and even including the $10 a day for parking we didn't spend close to what another hotel in town would have cost. The free breakfast was a nice touch, but the selection was extremely limited. The waffles were definitely the best item. I was disappointed that the "check-in clerk" didn't ask us if we preferred a smoking or a non-smoking room. We had been given a smoking room, which although it smelled pretty bad, we didn't realize it immediately, and we stayed in the room anyway; in retrospect, I should have changed out the rooms. On our first night, there were several youths having a party (and a one point a fight) very late a night, and this created an unpleasant situation: we could hear everything as if they had been in our room. Since the staff didn't discourage this behavior, it continued for a few hours. This hopefully is not a common situation, but this hotel could be a party hotel for locals; I don't know.”
