• I was not happy with the room they started me out in, but the very helpful staff was able to get me a room that was great and met all my needs

“The hotel was nice, I would stay there again if I ever return to the area. I wasn't happy with the outdoor pool (not open!). And the 2 bedroom suite had a pet smell, but after the window was opened for an hour, that was gone for the weekend. The staff was very nice and helpful.”

• Very friendly, helpful staff.
• Pool doesn't open until Memorial Day.

“Great location in a residential area. Nice walking trail nearby. Very close to commercial areas. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Many long-term residents so may not be the best location for families with children.”

• Aside from the overall looks/feel of the room it was the employees. So helpful/friendly.
• Truthfully there wasn't anything I did not like about this hotel.

“I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Newport news area. It's a great place regardless if you're there with children, on a getaway or on business. The hotel staff is so wonderful. Trust me you can't go wrong here.”

• The bed was comfortable.
• There was an overly fragrant cleaning agent smell.

“Great place, friendly desk clerk, clean and spacious. the only thing I didn't like was the strong smell of cleaner that appeared to mask some other smell, may be smoke.”
