• The hotel met all of my expectations and more. Wonderful!
• The initial person I spoke to was not going to switch out the room I had to make several phone calls

“The hotel was excellent for family travel. The pool was great and the breakfast was exceptional. The price is far below that of the quality.”

• Location.
• Dirty, dirty, staff friendly but not knowledgeable.

“Needs renewing. It is dirty, furniture falling apart, carpets filthy, sticky and not vacuumed. Mattresses torn, had to put plastic cover on top to use.”

• Good location. Close to areas of personal interest.
• Property shows considerable wear and cleanliness is poor.

“As reflected in earlier statements, the most positive feature of this property is it's location. At best it should be considered as an economy hotel with inflated descriptions of amenities and marginal housekeeping efforts.”

• Snooty, uncaring, unfriendly staff.

“We stayed here in July for one night and it was OK. The price was $69 + tax per night, very reasonable. We asked the clerk what their rates were for September and she told us the rates stay the same all year. When we returned this week and went to check in, a different clerk with an "I DON'T CARE" attitude told us it would be $80 + tax per night. We told her of our conversation with them in July. We were informed we could only get that rate if we had booked ahead online. (Not told of this in July). Since there was a maximum of 5 rooms in use and we thought they might need the business, we asked the manager if they could give us the lower rate. She replied "NO". We left and went to Super 8 where the rate was $69 + tax per night and only a few rooms vacant. Super 8 was a much nicer hotel. We will never stay at Best Western there again.”

• Decent value for the money, quiet.
• No high speed Internet in 2/3rds of rooms.`

“Picking the location was great because it's just several hundred yards from a car rental place (since I need to return with a rental car). But... I also picked the hotel because it was said that it offers high speed Internet at the location. OK, yeah. It might, but my Airport doesn't show it in my 3rd floor room (338). Calling the clerk, I was told that it's only available on the first floor. Big bomb for that one. My room is way in the back but it's really quiet (and dark) here. But the signal for cellular service is half-power, but fortunately I have a network card. The room is spacious, smells clean and not musty... but the hallways have a "lived-in very much" look. Some renovation could be in order soon. Bathroom bed and furniture are OK. TV has plenty of channels including HBO Plus, ESPN and ESPN2, plus local sports network for the MD/DC/VA area, kids, music, BET, etc. A good host of sat/cable. Sheets are typical, clean white ones, that awful brownish under-cover and the green/tan/blue/wine colored covers I tend to pull off. All in all, I'd stay here again if I can get on the first floor, cuz I want my web surfing. But the room's comfortable enough that I can live without it.”

• The business center was adequate for my needs.
• Wallpaper was taped up. Bathroom had mold and mildew. Faucets were falling off.

“I have stayed in Best Westerns before and have enjoyed my stays. This Best Western was not up to snuff. The room had spider webs in every corner. The bathroom has so much mildew that the wallpaper was coming down. The faucets in the bathtub were loose and about to fall off. I would not recommend this hotel. ”

• Nothing I like about this hotel.
• The room was dirty, smelly, noisy.

“The room was smelly, damped and moldy. I think they should tear it down and replace it with another hotel. I will never stay there again.”

• Staff very helpful in supplying directions to college we were visiting.
• Exercise equipment not functioning.
