  • The front desk staff was excellent.

“The only negative thing I can say about the hotel is the mini fridge. If you move something you are automatically charged. If you have small children, sometimes that can be an issue. Could it be locked and you get a key at the front desk if you desire to use it. Staff was friendly about removing the charges. Everything else was wonderful. My family enjoyed it.”

  • Very nice amenities and quality.
  • You could hear the next room flushing the toilets. I don't expect that from a 4 star.

“Great location at the Inner Harbor. The interior was really nice as was the room itself. I wasn't expecting to pay as high a price for parking at the hotel seeing as how I was staying there.”

  • I got a great room, on the top floor with wall size windows and great view.

“Hotel was excellent, the staff was very helpful. No complementary breakfast. Nice restaurant and coffee shop.”

  • Clean, very nice, friendly staff, and great location.
  • Room services prices a little steep.

“ Extremely clean, very accommodating staff, and nice upscale hotel. ”

  • Great location and
    friendly staff.
  • Fraternity convention, loud neighbors and spa was closed.

“A nice hotel in a very good location. The staff was helpful but stressed as a convention for the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.”

  • Friendly front desk staff.
  • Small beds in the double rooms.

“I liked this hotel. Great location, across the way from the Inner Harbor. Our room was a double and the beds were way too small, so I called the front desk to ask for a king bed. They didn't have anything - convention in town - so they upgraded us to a one-room suite. Amazing really. Really great bathroom amenities as well.”

  • Staff was extremely helpful, smiled, and asked the right questions.
  • Restaurant is overpriced and the food at breakfast wasn't the greatest.

“Room was quiet. Had updated fixtures and linens. Very clean. Had no idea as to the amenities at the hotel - nothing was mentioned in the hotel guide in the room. Bistro 300 restaurant is overpriced for the food. Service is good. Restaurants at other nearby hotels were better and less expensive.”

  • It was beautiful and very convenient to the Inner Harbor.
  • That they did not offer a shuttle service.

“The hotel was beautiful and the accommodations were great.”

  • Located very close to the Inner Harbor area.
  • Traffic is very bad around this hotel.

“Hotel is a decent, run-of-the-mill tourist hotel. The place is clean and efficient. No complaints.”

  • Views and proximity to inner harbor & Camden yards was superb.
  • Business data center - computers were non-functional and/or extremely slow.

“Overall, a great hotel, rooms had a boutique feel to them. Staff was excellent and brunch was delicious!”

  • Great location, clean, and quiet.
  • $27 for 24 hr parking is absurd.

“This Hyatt is in a great location near all the inner harbor attractions and within a couple quick blocks of Camden yards. It has a walkway that allows you to cross over to the inner harbor area without having to take your chances with street level traffic. It's clean, the rooms are very nice and quiet, and some rooms have a great view. I definitely felt safe being there too.”

  • Excellent location, extremely clean, close to Harborplace.
  • Nothing.

“4 star well deserved. Very clean. Excellent location. Friendly staff. 2 blocks from Harbor place. Given location, did not mind paying the $27 parking fee.”

  • The hotel was decorated very nicely and conveniently located to everything we needed.
  • Parking and in room items way over priced. Crying children next door sounded like in the same room.

“This was a very nice hotel with friendly staff however they seemed over worked and stressed out. There were two people trying to check out 20 people and others just standing there watching. Same at check in. They also asked us if we would like a double, queen, or king and we said king and they gave us a double anyway?!?”

  • It was super clean and well decorated.
  • The scents in the room. The perfume/ scent sprayed into/ coming out of the air ducts.

“Wonderful Hotel, sans the scenting of the circulating air.Yes, we complained to management at the front desk about the scent affecting our asthma and allergies.”

  • Clean.
  • Someone was shot across the street.

“Our room was nice but we could not check in till after 5pm.”

  • Loved the shower.
  • Coffee shop not easily findable and then ridulously overpriced.

“Very pleased with my stay at the current rate. Staff very friendly. Room comfortable. Wished the pool opened earlier.”

  • Location.
  • Too much noticeable construction, drabby interior, drabby old rooms.

“Great location with average decor. Fine for a one night stay and for a business traveler, not very attractive.”

  • The location, view, big mirror in the room, glass elevators, and the shower/bathroom set up. I could lay in my bed & see the Inner Harbor.
  • Having to insert your room key in the elevator to access your room. Room needs a CD player or radio. Pisces Restaurant was closed - boo!

“Only the Hyatt in Maui beat my 10th floor corner room with views of the Inner Harbor and promenade, Federal Hill and even the Bromo-Seltzer Clock Tower. The Anime Convention was going on while I was there and even while the hotel was hopping busy, the staff was extremely professional. The carpet was a little worn but otherwise my room was perfectly comfortable.”
