“I would not stay here if you didn't have to. I think we could have found a better hotel for a little more money and it would have been worth it. Rooms need updating. No blankets on bed. Noisy. Bed was worn. I slept in my clothes because I was afraid to sleep under the sheets.”

“It was a good room for the price. The location was close to the local food and shopping spots and only 2-3 miles from the parks and historic areas of Williamsburg, VA. The continental breakfast was more like 2 states & 2 rivers being banana or glazed doughnut & coffee and orange juice.”

“I highly recommend this hotel. They are in the midst of renovating their rooms which are very spacious. The coffee maker and blow-dryer help with making the vacation easy for which to pack. Staff very knowledgeable and cordial.”

“This hotel was about what you would expect to get for the amount of money you paid. It is a older hotel with no extras but a swimming pool. The free continental breakfast was donuts and bananas ,OJ and coffee that was served at the front desk and had to be carried back to your room. no frills but a clean room.”

“It started as soon as we walked in and sat down our first suitcase - a roach ran up the wall. Within the first 5 minutes, roaches were every where. We pulled the blanket back on one of the beds, and a roach came out from under the pillow and another across the pillow. Roaches and the dirty, used washcloth hanging on the shower rod sent us running for the door. The manager was helpful in locating other accommodations at Clarion.”

“No continental breakfast at 7am. The office light was on but locked up. I had to leave so I had no time to ring the bell for service or to wait for the bare minimum continental breakfast. They might have offered at some later point. No shampoo in room but they did bring us extra towels the night before without asking more than once. Frustrated because my expectations were not met.”
