• Price and location and 2 pools and free coffee and tea whenever you wanted it in the lobby.
• Where the breakfast area was located.

• It was conveniently located.
• It took the elevator a while to get to where you were waiting for it.

“The hotel was kept very clean and was decorated nicely the issue was that our room smelled musty when you first when in until you got some air running.”

“The hotel was conveniently located very near Historic Williamsburg and close to many restaurants. It was fine for us in that we only needed a place to have breakfast, sleep and shower.”

• Going outside to get to the breakfast room.

“I thought the hotel was in a great location, very central to local attractions. The rooms were clean and the staff polite. Having an indoor pool was a plus. The only con was having to walk outside to get to the breakfast room. We were lucky to have great weather, but if the weather was bad it would really have been a negative factor. All and all though I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.”

• Free breakfast - limited to some basic fruit, yogurt, cold cereal, toast & fresh waffles; but free!
• Ground level room facing parking lot without full room darkening drapes.

“This hotel is on the slippery slope of poor maintenance, but it has not yet gone over the edge - but it's teetering! Everything was very clean, but also very old. The sheets and towels were washed out. The sheet had a small hole probably from someone tugging too hard, or maybe they put their foot through it - it was that thin. I also believe you could read the newspaper through the towels. It took two to dry off after the shower. The room was a ground level room facing the east parking lot and the windows only had a sheer drape! If you don't value privacy and will get up at 5:00 AM when the sun comes up, then this is your room. But if you have a teenage daughter in town, then you're blocking the window with the wall mirror and pinning two tiny side drapes together. (Remember, hanging up paper-thin towels wouldn't help either). For a one night stay while we visited William & Mary College, it was tolerable. If I had to stay two nights, I would have walked out and found something else. This hotel needs some TLC before it's too late. There is plenty of competition.”

• Dirty bathroom, dirty carpets.

“The room was dirty, the carpet smelled, the bathroom was just plain nasty with rust stains on the tile floor and bath tub. The staff was rude when I tried to get some additional towels to use at the pool.”

• I enjoyed the location, the outdoor pool, and the room was spacious for the cost.
• The desk staff was less than courteous.

• Housekeeping tidied the room but did not exactly clean or vacuum.

• I have stayed here before. I like both pools and the choices for breakfast.
• Sometimes the front desk staff seems like your bothering them.

• Great location, friendly staff and nice swimming pools.
• Location of the continental breakfast.

“Our stay at Comfort Inn Williamsburg was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by their friendly staff. Our room was nice. It had plenty of space for the two of us. The continental breakfast had a lot to offer the only downfall of it is that you had to go outside to get to it. We swam in both their outdoor pool and indoor and both were very nice. All in all our stay was very good.”

• This hotel was clean and comfortable. I like the fountain outside and the hotel lobby was nice.
• The front desk staff were the most unfriendly staff I have encountered during a hotel stay. Besides that, I would stay here again.

“Overall, this hotel was clean and comfortable and a great price. I hesitate to go back because the staff was so unfriendly. When I checked in, the front desk attendant seemed annoyed that I was bothering him. Also, on one night during my stay I wanted to order take-out and asked him for a recommendation. He suggested the phone book, which of course I knew to use but was hoping for a nice recommendation of somewhere local to order from.”

• House keeping was always banging on the walls early in the morning.

“I feel that this Hotel was way overpriced! The positive side was it's location in reference to the amusement parks and nicer dining spots. I would not refer anyone I know to stay there unless there were absolutely no other options available!”
