• We liked having the variety of food available at the continental breakfast and a dining room to eat in.
• We weren't very please with how long it took to check in.

“Overall we got what we paid for - a bargain hotel at a bargain price. We loved having a suite so the kids could go to bed before the adults did but this is not for those looking for luxury suites. Everything was adequate, but nothing was stellar. The furniture could use updating and in some cases repair and the bare floor shows where the old air conditioning units, which must have been larger, were removed but the floor wasn't re carpeted. The bathroom in our suite showed some evidence of old water damage that hadn't been well repaired. But despite all of these things, the room was clean and when we called the front desk to ask for sheets for the sofa bed, they were delivered quickly and with apology for not being in the room in the first place.”

• Trash lies every where starting from parking lot lobby kitchen.

“When I reserved the hotel I was told I will get king or two queen beds but receptionist said there are no queen beds.”

“The outside of the hotel looked a little rundown. The entrance to the main lobby is poorly marked. The pool is very small and the water was freezing. The romms are outdated.”

• The attendant who checked us in was nice. She was the nicest part of our experience.
• The entire stay (24 hours worth) until we could find another hotel.

“The hotel is in less than stellar condition for it being an award winner a few years ago. From torn wallpaper, outlets not affixed to the walls, phones that do not work; absolutely disgusting tubs and countertops, a breakfast buffet that had you questioning expiration dates on the items - this hotel is not a choice hotel. The family traveling with us - their couch was completely broken and unusable. They had to sit on the cushions on the floor. It's not worth the price. It should be in the $50 range to match other hotels of it's caliber. We checked out as soon as we found another room who offered exemplary amenities: beautiful, clean rooms; comfy beds that weren't sagging; sofas that weren't broken; bathrooms without residues from previous guests; a breakfast that had you filling your plate two times over; and the list goes on and on. The price nearly matched this hotel!”

• The breakfast was great with a good selection of choices. Coffee was available 24/7.
• No ice machine on every floor. The check-in staff used the word 'ain't' several times while talking to me. Needs to use proper English.

“The young man that checked us in was very friendly, courteous and helpful with our questions (other than using the word ain't). Staff was dressed nice and neat. The cleaning lady was also very nice and pleasant.”

• The location was convenient for restaurants and attractions.
• There was no security, the doors were not secure, anyone could enter without a key.

“This hotel was ok for the price, however there was no security, anyone could enter the hotel at anytime. It was next to a construction site so everyday our car was dirty. I would not stay at this hotel again!”

• Location was convenient to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. Rooms very quiet even the air conditioning.
• Carpets were horrid throughout the hotel. They really should be replaced. Outside benches are unsafe.

“Overall an okay experience. Beds were comfortable. The hotel presents a shabby appearance. It appears that the bathrooms have been remodeled and that the hall wallpaper has been replaced, but the carpets are stained, torn, and dirty throughout. Surprisingly quiet rooms. We could hear others while in the hall, but once in the room all was quiet. Plenty of room. If you are only going to sleep there and especially if you have several family members, it is a good value. Pool water was dirty. Breakfast was the same every day all okay except for the inedible sausage links.”

• Easy to find and very friendly front desk employees.
• Dirty carpet, less than appealing pool water and area.

“The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, and it was easy to find. It is located near restaurants and tourist spots. On the negative side, the carpets are dingy, the pool water is dingy, our first room had beat up furniture, and the bed linens are too great.”

• The convenience and the amenities.
• No security. Anyone could walk into the hotel at any door without notice or question.

“It is in a great location. The indoor pool was great for the kids. It was quiet and we had plenty of space. Would have felt more secure if doors to the outside had to have a key to get in. The breakfast was the same every day. You had to bus your own tables including wiping them down with towels that they have sitting in a bucket of nasty, discolored water just for the purpose of cleaning? All-in-all, the experience was good.”

• Excellent free breakfast including hot items.
• It was hard to see from road. You have to enter in a poorly marked driveway.

“Nice overall. Two busloads of teens were well handled with no problems. I would stay again.”

• Had an excellent free breakfast.
• No problems at this hotel.

“This hotel is family friendly. It has a pool, exercise room and free breakfast and internet. Although there were many families staying in the hotel during our stay, our room was in a very quiet area. In fact, upon check-in, we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge.”

• We enjoyed the pool, exercise room and game room. Game room needs new updated games though.
• I didnt like having to ask for my room to be cleaned on the 3rd day. I think they need to change the blankets more often.

“I enjoyed this hotel a lot. My family was happy and we are more likely to return here again either the summer or the fall when we visit again. The hotel was in the perfect location for vacationers. I give this hotel kudos!”

• Very quiet and peaceful. Suites are very nice and big.
• No hot water when you ran it in the sinks. Tile was coming off the walls. No DVD or VCR in the bedroom.

“Nice hotel very quiet and peaceful off the road away from traffic. Just a few things that could be better, room service would be nice, If the hot water could work in the sinks, and there as no DVD or vicar in the bed room just in the living room part of the suite.”

• There was nothing to like.
• The rooms had a funky smell, and the door in the bathroom was cracked, and the light did not work. A/C Heat worked somewhat.

“This hotel is one I would not recommend. I think when we were there, only one other person stayed there. The pool was supposed to be opened because it was indoor, but no lights worked so you couldn't' swim at night.”

• The suite was a nice size.
• The fitness room was dirty. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

“It was inconvenient getting in and out of the hotel parking lot. The initial person on duty when we arrived was rude and disrespectful. The hotel was not clean and smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The breakfast menu is very limited and wasn't good at all.”

• The accommodations were way above our expectation. It was also unexpected to have a full breakfast buffet included in the price of the room.
• This hotel did have limited parking available close to entrances.

“The quality suites Williamsburg is one of the best hotels I have stayed in while visiting the Williamsburg area. Its location is very convenient to the historic section, the outlets, and Busch gardens. It is also very close to one of our favorite stops in Williamsburg, the "new town" area, so that was an added bonus for my family. We also enjoyed a wonderful full breakfast buffet that was totally unexpected. We only wished that we had booked more than one night at quality suites for this trip. As we totally loved this hotel.”

• The size of the room was great with all amenities included.
• Well I received your email while trying to correct an error with the hotel charging me for my stay as well.

“The hotels location is excellent. The staff very friendly and eager to help. The suite that I was in was very spacious with frig, microwave, stereo, and 2 TVs. We really enjoyed ourselves.”

• Cheap.
• The breakfast.

“The hotel was exactly what I expected for the price. Slightly dingy, but the rooms were very large, and the bathroom was nice and clean. The breakfast was not very good. It is also in a great location. I would recommend it to anyone going to Williamsburg.”
