• I liked the cleanliness, the breakfast, and the comfort of a nice room to come back to each night.
• The wireless was a little hard to connect to. The signal wasn't always very strong. Also, one of the front esk workers was not extremely friendly.

“It was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed coming back there every night and felt very safe. Overall the staff was friendly and we had no trouble with anything during our stay there.”

• It was close to Busch Gardens which was very convenient.
• As I said the night clerk was horrible. The floors seemed wet all the time. There was a freight train behind the hotel, it must have passed 20 times!!

“Overall, the hotel was fine considering the price and my needs. However, the night clerk needs to go! He is bad for business. I actually considered not checking in after he was rude to me over the phone. Then he got ruder when I arrived to check in! Being in the customer service field myself, I was appalled! If you are in the hospitality business your customer service skills are key to repeat business. Especially when, there are 20 other hotels in the area. This place will lose money if he continues to work there! What is sad is the day clerks were very polite and helpful. Literally, a night and day experience.”

• Close to everything we wanted.
• It was older than I realized. Carpet fairly dreary.

• Hotel staff rude. Pool salty and warm.

“The hotel staff refused to break a hundred dollar bill. The pool was disgusting and not properly chlorinated.”

• Dirty room poor continental breakfast old dirty carpets everywhere.

“Hotel is outdated and dirty. The continental breakfast was terrible. Food handler was scratching her head during her job. I found the one and only clean table in the room. The carpet in the room was so dirty we did not walk around without our shoes on.”

• The staff was helpful and friendly.
• The rooms seemed dirty and old. Public spaces were too confined (continental breakfast).

“Overall, it did not meet our expectations. The only thing we liked is that the staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was poor and in a poor location- too confined of a space. We were given a smoking room. The rooms seemed dirty and unkempt.”

• It wasn't too expensive and was relatively a nice hotel.
• One of the desk chairs had disgusting stains on them.

“Reasonably priced with good service and staff, who were helpful in getting me there over the phone while driving in the dark. My family and I would stay there again, without hesitation.”

• Hotel always had easy access to wireless internet - never have a problem; other hotels I have had problems.
• Breakfast- could have more Danish instead of muffins and cinnamon rolls.

“We have stayed at this hotel numerous times because our son goes to college in town. The accommodations are great and we always feel safe there. ”

• Air compressor vibrated the whole room when it kicked on.

“The security lock in our room was broken. It was removed and never replaced. No mention of railroad tracks in your write-up.”

“The floors in the were very dirty which I have a child crawling, she could not be put down. they were unaccommodating since I didn't book directly through them. I asked for a crib everyday for six days and never got one. there are hundreds of hotels on this strip, don't use this one.”

• It was convenient, the staff was nice and helpful. The indoor pool made it so it can be used year round. You could walk to some restaurants, etc.
• I did not really care for the bedspreads, but then again, I generally would not pick any bedspreads I have ever seen in a hotel for my bed.

“I thought it was a nice hotel. It was within walking distance of food and some other attractions and very close by car to many other restaurants, shops, etc. It was nothing fancy, but I was not looking for fancy.”

• Lots of brochures in the lobby, good location.
• Our room smelled. Probably previous smoking.

“Good location, the pool was OK. Our room, though non smoking, was probably previously a smoking room which smelled kind of musty. It was OK.”

• Train went by four times throughout the night.

“This hotel is feet from a train track and the trains passed many times waking us each time. It was very loud and that is not what we go on vacation to experience. Also, while the rooms were generally clean and nice, the ceilings were gross. Not sure what the stains were, but given the modern day concerns of mold, it was not nice to be sleeping under them. The pool was nice and unexpected and the breakfast was great however, they ran out of several items.”

“The hotel was clean and the staff very courteous and helpful. The only problem we encountered, was the ice machine on our floor broke and it wasn't fixed by the time we left (probably too soon to get someone out). We simply went to the next floor up and got ice. I would have liked to have had a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. It had internet access, but only if you had dial-up, which I don't. Otherwise, very acceptable.”

“Considering the area, the hotel was not as nice as I had expected. The amenities were sorely lacking. Additionally, there was a train track close to the hotel and trains ran all night long; the noise was very disruptive to sleep.”
