“Staff were not friendly, asked for a non smoking room and received a smoking room, air conditioning did not work properly leaving the room stuffy in the middle of the night, ash was dropped around the bed, floor did not feel clean when walked on.”

“Quality of room and amenities adequate for the level of hotel, but did not feel very safe. Hotel security should have patrolled more often to control loud conversations that could be heard from parking lot.

“I was not impressed. The room was fairly clean but could have been better. Door edges were rusty. The ice machine on my floor was broken. The phone was out of order. The juice dispenser had 3 nozzles and one was out of order and I saw fruit flies. I was told it was 7 miles from Baltimore, well it must have been the very edge of the city. I was 14 miles away. I would not stay there again.”

“The hotel manager changed the room, after I was on the phone in the lobby of the hotel for approx. 1 hour. The original room looked like it was a hourly rate use room for Saturday night quickies.”

“I am very disappointed by this hotel. It is an Indian family that has all of the family living there and all are very loud. You cannot rest at all. They charge you for this, for that. They would not give an extra pillow for my disabled husband. It said continental breakfast but it was only coffee. No hot water and non working toilet. Also, their pool very dirty and the pool hours were 1 to 7 pm. Very poor judgment of these owners. Shame on them to be so rude.”

“I left a valuable item in the room when I checked out. That evening I recalled it and called the hotel. Housekeeping had found it and turned it in to the front desk and not a single thing was missing! You couldn't ask for a better place to stay! Not only that, the room was very clean, the only faults I cold find was the upholstery on one chair was loose and concrete on walkway outside broken up. The beds were clean and comfortable. I felt very secure and safe here. They allowed us to check in hours early without a single problem. Every employee greeted us and were very friendly. I will definitely stay here again!”

“Not a 2 star hotel. The hotel did not fulfill the basic hotel requirements. It was dirty, smoking room even though I requested non smoking. Our sheets were not changed for our initial stay, or during our stay. This is a one star not 2 star.”

“I had some family members live for 5 nights at this hotel but when I went there, I was surprised. It was more like cheap motel than an actual hotel. Rooms had very bad smell, carpet was all dirty, curtains were kind of see through etc.”

“My husband and I were in Baltimore for business and since we are self-employed we have to pay our own expenses. It was a very clean room and the beds were comfortable and the restaurant was excellent, we ate there both nights.”

“Not very attractive on outside, room was adequate though. Parking sparse. Air/heat was either on or off, did not shut off after desired temp reached. Target store was practically in same parking lot. Only reason I would stay again would be for the attached restaurant. Olive Branch has great Italian food and a tie for best crab cake in Baltimore, as told to me by a Baltimore resident.”
