“The hotel is old but was kept very nicely. The rooms were nice, the location is good and the pool looked nice even though I didn't have time to use it. There was also free internet access which is a plus! I had lunch with my stepdaughter at the restaurant the next day and it was very nice.”

“The hotel lobby is first class but the room I had was not up to par with some of the other Hiltons I've stayed at. I didn't find the furniture to be beyond that of a Holiday Inn.”

“We experienced no ice melter on the sidewalks and parking lots (resulting in a slip and sprained ankle for one of us), flies (alive and dead) in our hotel rooms, a rat that had to be chased out of a hotel room, numerous spiders, dirty cups and plates every morning in Morgan's Restaurant despite bringing this to the attention of the hotel staff, dirty bathtubs with moldy caulking and ring around the tub, and shower faucets separating from the wall showing exposed pipes. Perhaps the worst was the one member of our group who went in the hot tub one night for an hour with a friend and had her swim wear dyed from dark purple to light pink as a result of the high levels of chlorine. Both she and her friend smelled chlorine on their skin for days afterward and her skin turned bright red from the irritation. The hotel offered to pay half the cost of a very expensive suit (she declined) and then proceeded to turn the case over to insurance. At present time, hotel insurance is attempting to deny the claim because they do not want to admit negligence (despite clear evidence they are at fault) and the trip is already over. I would not recommend this hotel at all. It is unhygienic and senior hotel management does not understand the meaning of customer service and the customer is always right!”

“It's the Hilton and it is what it is expected to be clean, fresh, good service quite and professional and friendly. And, of course it's in Columbia, Maryland (Howard County) where the resources are.”

“The Hilton is located in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. The room was very spacious and quiet accommodating. The staff was friendly and answered all questions in a very polite manner. I would recommend staying at the Hilton in Columbia, MD.”
