  • Management solved all my problems.
  • My original room you could clearly hear next door.

“Great hotel, I had a problem with my first room because I could hear everything clearly next door and was awaken several times during the night, called front desk to complain at 1am then again at 2:30am no one answered. the next morning they got an ear full, the manager apologized and upgraded my room to a Jr suite and the rest of my stay was excellent.”

  • The rooms had plenty of space to move around.
  • A lot of unfinished area in parking area.

“This hotel was very attractive and had nicely decorated rooms and public areas. The whole staff was friendly and helpful.”

  • The room was modern with flat screen
    TV and mini fridge.
  • Bot the wired and wireless internet was spotty at best.

“The best value I have experienced in a Washington DC area hotel. The only negative is the internet service. It's very bad. I know its free but I would rather pay for good internet service than deal with the very spotty service they provide for free. Overall its a beautiful modern room with flat screen
TV and mini fridge. It also has free parking and a free shuttle to the subway.”

  • The room set up was very nice, had a lot of extras.
  • I could not change my room from a double bed to a king, also unable to extend my stay.

“Very nice new hotel, the extras in the room made me want to stay longer. The refrige, microwave, flat screen TV, all are a plus. The location right of the major highway as well as the food locations near by, all had me saying I wish I could have extended my stay but they must have been over booked.”

  • Even though under construction, exceeded expectations.
  • Shuttle service policies need to be better described to guests.

“With a 2.5 star, along with the Sheraton name, I had high expectations. Even though the hotel was under some construction/renovation while we stayed there, I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in. They did a wonderful job and I have really no complaints. Just be sure you talk to the front desk about their shuttle service, as they do not have a sign-up sheet for the use of the shuttle. Instead, you just call down when you want it and you are at the mercy of the service's availability. Also, it only runs until 10:00 p.m., which is tough for tourists traveling into D.C. and wanting to stay in the city until later in the evening. The Metro stop in New Carrollton runs until midnight during the week, so we had the hassle of calling a cab (which was a hassle for the time and location of the Metro stop), and getting back to the hotel. However, in no way did that taint our stay, and I would surely stay here again.”

  • The location.
  • The staff could be rude.

“The staff was something rude and very short with you. The shuttle service they offered at times could be slow. And I did not get my newspaper.”

  • Ease from highway.
  • Room right below heat exchanger on roof.

“Our flight got in at 11:45pm, by the time we got our car and drove from Baltimore to the hotel; it was almost 1:15am. At 5:25am the heat came on however we were on the top floor right below the heat exchanger which was on the roof. The noise was so loud and the room vibrated so badly, neither my husband nor I got back to sleep. The kicker was that after we asked the manager to come to the room, he called and stated they already knew of this problem from previous complaints but they still rent out this room. His attitude was that he didnt even care.”

  • Very stylish and clean.
  • Neighborhood was on the edge of a bad area.

“Very clean and comfortable, stylish and modern. Spacious room and bath. Mini fridge, microwave and TV very nicely placed. Beds & pillows comfortable. Location was good as to highway access but the area around hotel (in one direction) seemed a bit rough. There was a police car in the parking lot and that was reassuring and also not reassuring. Overall, a very nice place would go there again.”

  • They had a great shuttle service to the Metro
  • The pool hours were from 4pm-10pm, which is not suitable for young children to enjoy

“ I felt that it was a fair deal. The rooms were comfortable, staff friendly and the general apperance of the hotel clean. I would return to the hotel again.”

  • bathtub in need of repair or replaced!

“The Bath tub was in need of repair and the lobby was under renovation, which we were not pleased with. When we checked out on Friday my wife left a ring on the bathroom sink, but realized it after we checked out. We call the hotel immediately to inform them, but they did not have any information on items left in the room by housekeeping. also we called on Monday April 18, with no information, but left a message on their answering machine.”

  • It was an easy commute to my project site.
  • Very old and not maintained at all.

“Upon check-in I was assigned to room 920. Walking down the corrider of the 9th floor, the room doors and carpeting about mid-way down the hallway made a noticeable degradation. Paint peeling on doors, stained carpet, etc. My room was LAST on right. When I noticed the room door ajar, it pushed right open without a key. From the inside, the door would not shut at all. I returned to the lobby and asked for another room and had to argue for one. They kept insisting that I go to this room and wait for maintenance to come up. Finally they gave me room 819, as I had asked for a KING ROOM. However room 819 was a smoking room, the bathtub was in the bed area, there was no TV Remote, but WORSE, there was a 6 inch gap under the door. Not only did this make a breeze come in, but you could hear EVERY noise in the hallway. I again returned to the lobby and asked for a better room. ”
