“It is the small things outside our room and one big thing, that has made this hotel one of the worst, either of us have ever stayed at. First of all there is no handicapped parking for my wife, who has a torn ACL and arthritis. We were placed about a football field away from the breakfast area, where we went only once, since it looked like an elementary school breakfast (hot juice?). The doors which are the entry into the guest corridors, slam constantly all hours of the night. Most nights we had average 5 hours of sleep. Finally the housekeeping is way too bad, they blare music from their office, we called the front desk to ask her to tell them to turn it down, she never did, we had to get the manager the next to tell them and they just turned it up after he left. It ruined our time in this room, there is no peace & quiet.”

“We asked for non-smoking but were given a smelly room at first. Second room smelled fine and but needed a little deeper cleaning. This hotel is under renovation still. Once they finish and keep up on the cleaning I think it could be nice. Staff was fighting in the lobby when we arrived. Not the best start. Continental breakfast average. This is located in the city so not much else to choose for as far as kid friendly food within walking distance. Might stay again when fully renovated.”

“We got in late Thursday night, I had called earlier in the day to let them know we would be arriving late. We went to the room, which was occupied, with a couple who was screaming and yelling at each other. We were making our way back to the front desk when we were intercepted by front desk, who figured out that we had been sent to an occupied room. He had a new room key and would be coming with us, he took us to the new room, and walked in first. The room was empty and although it was not the room I had requested originally, but we were too tired to care. The room was not as clean as it could have been but we were tired. We put the do not disturb in the key slot on the door and called it a night. The next morning on 3 different occasions a member of housekeeping removed the do not disturb and tried getting into our room. When I was checking out there was a line of people, all checking out and more than one of those people had a list of complaints. I would not ever stay in this hotel again. However, if in Harrisburg again, I would definitely ask front desk for information and direction.”

“I'm not joking. This hotel was under complete renovation and should have been closed during the process. The door lock was busted. No internet connection. The carpeting was covered with paint and dry-wall material. There were people working constantly, making tons of noise. I had to switch rooms twice before finding an acceptable room.”

“This hotel is dirty and way overpriced. The carpets were stained and needed vacuumed. I woke up itchy in the bed and stayed up all night. Another guest told me she had the same experience. The tub and shower were dirty and stained. The wireless internet service doesn't work in the rooms, although I was told it would when I made reservations. The Indian restaurant adjacent is wonderful, one of the best I've ever visited, and the river view and access to riverfront walking trail is great. The breakfast was very good with lots to offer. The staff is very friendly.”

“Can't beat the location. Right along the waterfront and close to 2nd St. As long as you aren't expecting a modern, immaculate room and don't have high expectations of the staff, its fine for a night or two.”

“The hospitality and experience was ok, not a hotel I would re-visit if I should ever be in Harrisburg again. I forgot my toothpaste, and the hotel was out of toothpaste for the two nights I stayed there.”

“Hotel was only .5 miles away from Hershey. The hotel was actually 9 miles away. I would have booked my reservations with the other Comfort Inn closer to the Hershey attractions on Hershey Park Drive.”
