“The hotel was very accommodating. They got us a refrigerator for our room and everyone in the hotel was very friendly and extremely nice. Any employee we came in contact with was very nice and went out of their way to complement everyone in my group.”

“The members of the valet parking staff were the most helpful, courteous, and friendly employees at the hotel. The hotel was very clean and very well kept. We would stay at this hotel again if we were visiting Harrisburg.”

“This hotel was very good but is in the heart of the city making it hard to walk around with the children as it is very close to some not so nice areas. Staff is wonderful if you talk to the right person. Would recommend for business travel not necessarily family but not bad if you can stick to eating at the hotel.”

“Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel was nice and clean and staff friendly. The parking was the only drawback. Nice location too. Easy to walk to things in city.”

“I would not recommend this hotel. The hotel was not 3 stars, the room was small, the water pressure was low, the vending machines weren't working, the elevators were old and took forever to come. Our bath tub was clogged up and the TV was disconnected when we arrived. Parking was a nightmare, only valet parking was available for an additional charge of $18 daily. The room was extra small and the surrounding area was not family friendly. The bathroom floor was slippery as if the cleaner used to not properly wiped off. I do not recommend this hotel. The pool was also under construction and we were told to walk down the street and use the Hilton's pool. Go elsewhere do not stay here. There wasn't a vent in the bathroom.”

“I really like the hotel, the parking was the only thing I had a problems with. We had to park down the road and walk, carrying all of our bags back to our hotel.”

“Was not a 3 star, but maybe 1 star possibly 2. The location was dangerous if you walked two blocks east, don't go there. This hotel may be suitable for business travelers but not for families. Parking is a issue you have to pay $18 a day and give tips, so the actual cost is $20 a day depending on how many time you call for your car.”

“My first impression of the hotel was great. It was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. A couple of problems did pop up after we were checked in. We had to go to the Hilton to use their pool and that walk through the Downtown streets in bathing suits with towels was a bit uncomfortable. The parking garage was full. We had to pay an additional $14 for overnight parking in the lot behind the hotel. The breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was a bit lacking in selection and the wait staff (at least ours) was very creepy. I felt like I was at the restaurant in the Bates motel. One good note. We had to get another remote for the TV and housekeeping showed up very quickly with a replacement.”

“Old fashioned building with good personnel on staff, facilities could stand upgrade and upkeep improvements. Nice place to visit, but not for an extensive stay in my opinion.”

“Overall I was unhappy with my stay at the hotel. Due to the fact that we stayed here at intending to go in the indoor pool although we were not notified that it was under construction. Also it is very busy around the hotel and difficult to find parking, however they do offer valet parking for the hotel with a fee of $18 and it was filled both times we tried.”

“Absolutely amazing experience. I pulled into hotel, was greeted politely. I checked in and was greeted by the desk staff who checked me in rapidly, was polite, efficient and accommodated my needs, upgrading my room without charge to have a refrigerator. Called me in my room to make sure I was ok, that the temperature was right. The room was clean, lovely, the bed heavenly. I was put in a room conveniently placed near the elevator. After checkout, I still had time before a social meeting, and I was directed to the lounge where I was warmly and kindly taken care of and consistently asked if I needed anything, given a complimentary soda and food. I parked my car in the garage upon arriving and electronically summoned my car, but before doing so, was given an hour of free time as it was too early for me to leave the hotel. Someone made sure I had correct directions. The parking personnel were kind, friendly, and appropriate. Overall, highly recommended. Slept like a baby in comfort and taken care of.”

“Although the staff was extremely courteous, the rest of the hotel does not live up to the rating. $18 per day extra for parking. restaurant not open at 2 pm on Friday. Good for business people, but would not recommend a family. Parking garage very courteous and dependable. Smallest king suite I ever saw.”
