• Location was convenient to University of Maryland and surrounding areas.
• Rooms were a bit on the small side.

• Hotel was very clean, upscale furnishings, nice amenities.
• Towels a little frayed, charge for in-room Internet access.

“This hotel far exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, decor and quality of furnishings. Staff was efficient and friendly. Although the in-lobby business center was appreciated, the nearly $10 per day charge for in-room Internet access was an unpleasant surprise. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.”

• Beds and pillows were wonderful.
• Dryers will not dry clothes.

“The overall stay was wonderful. I slept well most of the time. The last night I was there someone in the other room was making knocking noises on the wall hard enough to shake our headboards. The staff handled it well. I was very disappointed that I did not find a Gideon's Bible in the drawers. I had left mine in the car and wanted to have devotions, but was not able to. Most all the hotels that I have stayed at had a Gideon's Bible in the night stand, etc. Your dryers appear to be hooked up in such a way as to prolong the drying time. It was taking 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 times of drying to get things dry. It would be better for your utilities to either have a better dryer or have them vented separately to that they don't just put moisture back into each dryer but rather take it away.”

• It was convenient to where we needed to be.
• Lumpy comforter, staff could have been friendlier.

“First impression - it has a nice, spacious lobby. The pool was nice for the kids. The hall was freezing. In fact, a fellow guest said, "welcome to the second floor - cold as an icebox!" The room was decent.”

“Some staff doesnt even want to lift their face and say hello to the customers. However, the cleanness is very satisfactory and it's nice price to the hotel quality.”

• The beds, and the food very delicious, also the business center in the lobby---great idea!
• Some sort of crime was committed while we there. Investigators all over the hotel and no comment or reassurance from the hotel staff-scary.

“If the criminal event had not occurred, it would have rated a 10 out of 10. All our keys had to be re-activated and we were left wondering if we were safe. The hotel said nothing. On a brighter note, the computers with internet access and free printing in the lobby was an excellent feature we used often. Thanks.”

• Quality of room furnishings was excellent.
• Linens were shorted 3 out of 5 days.

“The quality of the room decor and front desk service was great and they responded quickly to every request. However, the hotel appears to have some housekeeping issues as both rooms had problems getting full sets of linens every day and once the bed wasn't completely made.”

• The bedroom was spacious, clean and well appointed.
• I could hear the children next door. Luckily they were quiet.

“The hotel is not well marked from the main road. The Sheraton logo faces the interstate rather than the local approach. I was picking my daughter up at the University of Maryland. It was a luxury to be alone in a restful, clean space before the ordeal of packing the car and making the long drive home.”

• Just a few km from Downtown Washington DC.
• No microwave oven or mini fridge in the room.

“I stayed at Sheraton Washington North 3 nights May 17-20 with my wife and 2 young kids. The hotel is clean, people are friendly. I loved the lobby with the free internet access. I did not try the restaurant. The hotel is close to the hgwy, just a few km from Washington DC (our main destination). Big parking place (free). The hotel was recently renovated. It was a marriage party, Saturday evening, but even if we stayed at the 2nd floor we heard no noise. There is a shuttle for the Metro. I missed by not having a microwave oven or mini fridge in the room (would be welcome for the young kid's meals and milk).”

• Some staff is friendly.
• Housekeeping horrible. Not near Metro station. Pool is dirty.

“Housekeeping is horrible. She keeps taking away our towels and not leaving new one. We have to call at the second time to get new towels. Location is not too convenience, but the hotel provides limited shuttle service. $10/day internet fee in room. Free parking through.”

• Room very attractively furnished.
• Pay per view on TV did not work.

“Accommodating staff upon check in and check out. Very nice room that was beautifully furnished. Bathroom excellent. I called the front desk and they told me it was an unfixable building wide internet provider problem. Two, HD was unavailable on the TV and the front desk didn't have a clue when asked about this. Third, there was no TV channel guide in the room either on the TV or as printed matter.”

• The commute from the city was too long. Traveled from DC.

• The location is perfect for a visit to the University of Maryland. It is less expensive than the hotels a tiny bit closer but much much nicer.
• I have no negatives, it served us very well. Comfortable, clean and great location.

“The hotel is located within a short distance of the metro and the University of Maryland - which was the focus of our visit. The room was very clean, beds comfortable and the staff very friendly. We had a light lunch in the bar and found the food fine and the drinks cold. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Conveniently located near exit ramp of I95. Comfortably furnished, clean, and quiet. Breakfast buffet was adequate; servers were pleasant and accommodating. (I was pleasantly surprised.).”
