• The bullet holes in the windows.

“The Econolodge in temple hills, Maryland needs to be removed from the priceline.com website. I canceled my reservation immediately after arriving there from Kentucky. I did not even unload my car. This hotel is in an extremely dangerous area of town just outside of Washington dc. It is surrounded by low income high-rise housing and drive thru liquor stores. It is not safe for travelers, or anyone else for that matter.”

• It was close to Downtown DC and right next to the metro.
• The hotel was rather run down and could have been cleaner.

“The owners were pleasant and helpful and as a single woman traveler, I felt safe enough.”

• The rooms were cleaned well everyday.
• The man at the front desk was consistently rude.

“Very close to the metro station. Only about 1/3 block away. That was a great help to us.”
