• I really liked the decor of the room-it was very tasteful.
• The only thing I did not like was the lack of continental breakfast, but that was probably typical of a 2.5 star hotel.

“Our stay was very comfortable-e were able to check in early and the staff was very helpful in giving directions to the Metro as well as getting us a refrigerator. The room was very nice and clean and they made it easy to check out. Everything was easy to find and I was even able to check my email quickly in the morning.”

• Staff helpful but directions to church/restaurant need updating.

“Good place to stay if visiting the Washington/Baltimore area. Centrally located to both and a 10 minute drive to the nearest train station.”

• Nice room and the staff was very helpful.
• Breakfast was not included.

“The rooms are spacious for two and a good size for four. Computers are easily accessible. Breakfast being extra seemed odd in this time when most hotels include a continental breakfast with the room.”

• Only about ten minutes from the Silver Spring Metro station.
• Ice machine was broken on the 2nd floor.

“Good location and neighborhood and just minutes from the Silver Spring metro. This would be a great hotel for business in the DC area.”

• It was a Courtyard.
• The room on the second day was not cleaned right.

“This hotel is not a easy location to get to. When I came back on the second day, they left dirty diapers on the floor, used water in the ice bucket and the tub had not been clean. Not a good sign from a Marriott hotel.”

• No complimentary breakfast; not many restaurants in area.

• Convenient to the location of business.
• Nice & secluded in a way.

“A little inconvenient with machinery noise next door at 3:00 in the morning because of flooding from the bath room. I learned it from the front desk because the worker did not say anything, just keeps on working.”

• The room and room features were fantastic.
• Expensive breakfast buffet.

• Large, well appointed room; indoor pool & whirlpool.
• No on site restaurant; no restaurants close by in event of bad weather.

“Very nice, well appointed hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast available at small charge; however, no other restaurant available on site. Closest restaurant about 1/2 mile away. Not reasonable walking distance for bad weather or seniors.”

• Convenient to both college park and Bethesda, both places where I had to visit.
• Cold, barren.

“Unlimited internet in the room and in the business center. Nice size room for the business traveler. Quick check in and easy access to rooms from parking lot for no nonsense entry and exit. Convenient to many Montgomery county Maryland locations and the beltway.”

• The overall hotel and my guest room were very clean and well maintained.
• No food is next to the hotel. Closest restaurants are just beyond a reasonable a walking distance.

“Overall I was very happy with hotel. The hotel and room was very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly. Great for business travel. The rooms have complimentary wired broadband access, but not wireless. So I couldn't do any work on my laptop from anywhere except the desk. And the speed of the broadband access dropped noticeably as evening progressed. Otherwise no complaints and I would stay there again.”

• Far away from attractions.

“Very clean, safe, but remote location. Great staff. We needed a taxi every day, and they called for it on time every time. Would definitely stay at again, but might consider someplace closer to where we needed to be. For the cost of a taxi each day ($40 total) we could have been right where we needed to be at a more expensive hotel. Otherwise great.”

• Had a great experience.
• Not conveniently located to metro or bus. Must rent a car or take cabs.

“This was a great hotel. It was clean and had a helpful and friendly staff. We really enjoyed staying here. However, it wasn't very conveniently located to the university of Maryland or to public transportation. I would say that overall, the comfort of this hotel made up for the location.”

• Being great at the front desk and the pool was the best for me and the view out side my window.
• I did not like the maid looking through my things and they did not have room service.

• Had a computer in the lobby I could use.
• It was in the middle of nowhere for tourist purposes.

“It was a typical business traveler hotel. Breakfast was not included as I thought nor were there toiletries - just shampoo and soap. The way airport security is I would have thought more would be provided.”
