  • Cheap compared to other options.
  • Bad customer service.

“Bad customer service: 1st night, there were no internet cables, told could not book another night until the next morning. 2nd night- told the next morning that I could not book another night because system down (told it would be running in a few hours), called many times during day and told each time not it was still not working, came back later that night and finally booked 2nd night (If we had not left some of our belongings in the room and could not come back until late the next night, I would have switched to another hotel).”

“Wonder about safety of area when the desk clerk is behind Plexiglas with only small slot for pushing papers in and out. Also saw 3 large rats (the size of squirrels) running across the parking lot. Coffee in room but no coffee pot, TV but no remote, dresser with missing drawer.”

“I stay in a hotel 50% of the year and Ive done that since 1993. This has been the worst by far. I would recommend a 1/3 star not a full star.”

  • Wired high speed internet.
  • Tiny and dirty. Smoking room. Used matchbooks and used shampoo. Ants.

“I chose to sleep fully clothed because this place was so dirty.”

  • It was easy to access and convenient.
  • Older motel, the furniture was outdated and shipped.

“The motel was dated. It needs to be freshened up and the furnishings were very basic old and worn. The beds were comfortable and the staff was responsive. We had a malfunctioning toilet and they responded immediately.”

  • Location was ok.
  • Crap and noisy heater.

“Much worse than I anticipated. I always thought Travelodge¿s were cheap, yet modern and clean. This "hotel" was very substandard and fitting of something from the 1970s.”

  • The location.
  • No Internet access at all. Not good for business travelers.

“Basically an economy motel that acts like it. No frills, except perhaps the coffee in the minimal lobby. Biggest problem was there is no Internet access at all here. Business travelers especially need to be aware of this. Basically, you are totally isolated in the rooms. Also, the room we had was in a corner where outside it had a very strong smell of urine. Inside, there was a very strong disinfectant smell, which was unpleasant. Everything seemed to be clean, otherwise. I would probably look for alternatives if I find myself in the same neighborhood again.”

  • Very little.
  • The TV didn't work and the shower didn't work. I had to take a bath.

“The biggest problem I had with the stay besides the fact that the TV and shower didn't work, was that I had to waste 2 hours calling different phone numbers to register my complaint. ”

  • Near D.C. metro system.

“It was very hard to understand the people at the service desk, and I am fairly good with understanding other languages (I am bilingual). There were no sightseeing brochures in the lobby, so we had to go to another hotel for that information. Our bathtub had no shower head and we had to hunt down the maintenance people to fix it. They did, however, respond right away...wonder how the cleaning staff didn't notice that?? There had been a full length mirror on the bathroom door, however, it was removed for some reason, and the glue was still on the door and looked very ugly. The second night we had small visitors and woke up to bugs on the walls. I would definitely not return to this hotel.”
