  • The location was excellent. We were less than a mile from the White House and the National Mall. Everything was in walking distance.
  • The room was small and the beds were only doubles. The beds were comfortable, but a family of 4 needs more space.

“The location of the Sheraton and the price was great. The room was clean, but the layout was cramped, the bathroom was tiny and I really expected a 3 star hotel to have two queen beds instead of two doubles. I've been in other hotels of this caliber where queens were standard.”

  • Location, staff.

“Very nice location, clean, quiet, pretty close to the metro. Good value, I thought.”

  • Modern, clean, comfortable bed, convenient to sites.

“This hotel was much more comfortable, modern, cleaner and safer than a D.C. hotel I stayed at previously for the same price! I had a car so it was convenient to all the areas I visited. I would highly recommend it.”

  • Central location, great value for money.
  • No computer access; terminals in lobby came with ridiculous per-minute charge.

“Clean, comfy, centrally located, great value for money. I'd highly recommend the Washington Four Points to anyone traveling to DC four a few days of sight-seeing, like I did with my 70-year old parents.”

  • Great location.

“This hotel has a great location, but didn't offer me parking I parked on the street. The pool was very small for the amount of people in it. The view in the room was bad, but everything around the room and hotel was very clean an d the staff very helpful and friendly specially the bellmans.”

  • Staff
    extremely nice & helpful.

“Overall a very nice hotel. No hot tub. Walls were very thin, so we could hear every time someone opened a door on our hall.”

  • Brisk walk to most locations.
  • The beds were aweful, very small rooms, crappy
    TV service.

“Valet parking being $35 per night and the hotel room being extreemly small. The bed was like a rock also very difficult to sleep after a day filled with sightseeing. Woke up sore because the bed was so bad. Complained but nothing happened.”

  • The location was great and the hotel was very nice.
  • Hotel staff didn't know much about what was located around the hotel. We got wrong directions on several occasions. Parking was also very expensive.

“Hotel was in a great central location right downtown. The parking was extremely expensive so we tried to find street parking for free which also proved to be a challenge.”

  • Good location, nice rooms, room safes, wonderful staff.
  • I liked everything.

“A very nice business style hotel with everything that you could want. It is not 5 star, but has wonderful modern decor, good sized room, bedding to-die-for, excellent location, convenient. Staff was genuinely nice. I could not have been more pleased.”

  • Very clean and comfortable beds.
  • Was not as close as it says to everything in DC.

“This hotel was very nice with comfortable beds, the actual hotel was very good, however there is a 35 dollar parking fee and you cannot check in before 3 pm (but you can park your car and leave your luggage). There is overnight parking at other places for 25-30 dollars, but the hotel offers come and go parking. Also, it is about 10 block walk to the mall (where museums/monuments are) and the same to get to the white house, so the location is great for walkers. But the area is very nice. I did not feel threatened or scared to walk at night.”

  • The front desk staff was very personable and friendly. The room service food was great and quick.
  • Got socked with $35 per day parking garage fees.

“Great hotel, great location but need to be more upfront about parking fees and need to use parking garage. There aren't alternative parking choices and people should know this when comparing hotel rates and amenities. Otherwise nothing negative and experience was great. People were great and Washington is notably safer and cleaner.”

  • Good location, clean room & a small but nice pool.
  • The AC was broken.

“Overall it was a good experience in this hotel. The AC in my room was broken & it took longer than I would have expected to have my room changed. The rooms were clean & the Metro is only a few blocks away. Good location in Downtown DC.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[3] • Location:[10]

  • The king size bed and the central location to the sites.
  • The attitude of the staff and the 'nickel and dime' fees such as parking.

“The hotel is situated in the heart of Downtown Washington, D.C., which was really nice. And the king size bed was nice. Other than that, I cannot really say anything good. The entire hotel smelled like chlorine from the pool being on the roof, and by pool, I mean a hole in the floor with water in it. The room was small, just enough room for the furniture. And they staff, except the a couple of people working the front desk are never in a good mood and no one agrees anything, what the price is for parking, what time it closes, etc. And by the way, even if you are a guest at the hotel, you must pay to park.”

  • Nothing.
  • Horrible had bites on my legs when I woke up, homeless, roaches outside on sidewalk, big ones and just no sleep!

“Horrible ghetto location, bugs in bed waking with bug bites on legs and suffered all week with swelling and itching, big roaches on sidewalk, no sleep - just stank!”
