• Staff was wonderful.
• Guests have to pay $35 per night for parking.

“The hotel exceeded our expectations, however I was shocked to find out parking was not included in the room. As a guest I had to pay $35 per night and had to park in the garage next door to the hotel. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.”

• Great location - very nice hotel.
• Parking is a problem and it's very expensive.

“Very nice hotel. I've stayed in this hotel before. There was a great deal of confusion at check-in because I was a day late in arriving (car problems). I called them when I had the problem, but still the check-in process did not go smoothly when I arrived. It was finally all straightened out and things were all good after that.”

• Wonderful interior. Really beautiful.
• A person in Information desk.

“Location is not bad (10~15 min to Subway Station). Wonderful interior. But, a person in the information desk was somehow rude. I felt very unpleasant. Overall very good.”

• The location, atmosphere, beauty, staff!
• Took long for water to heat up.

“An upscale romantic getaway that will also suit business and convention like travels a like. Nice flat screen HD TV with net access, desk with built in electronics for every situations and still perfect to rekindle the flames! I love and will stay again very soon!”

• Great mattress. Very clean.
• Could have used more towels for 4 people.

• Very clean with large rooms.
• $35 for parking, the bar closed too early.

“This seemed to be a very nice hotel for businessmen. It was close enough to walk to the Verizon center. Parking was not cheap at $35 per night. The center of the hotel is open with a glass top so that all the inside rooms have a window looking in. I didn't like that everyone could look in so I closed the curtains. Smoke free environment.”

• Hotel architecture and location were outstanding.
• $35 for parking, and everything in general cost way too much.

“This hotel was a fair experience; the staff was very friendly and helpful, but anything extra was way overpriced. Exs: $4 for a snickers bar $35 parking, $5 bottle of water, $13 for pay per view movie.”

• Very convenient to major sights white house etc.
• Valet parking seemed a little expensive at $35 per night.

“Turns out when we arrived that we had in fact stayed at this hotel the last time we were in Washington, but as a Wyndham I believe, not as a Westin. Again, great location, walking distance for us to the white house etc., with comfortable, but not huge, rooms with great beds. Breakfast a little expensive, but plenty of great breakfast places a short walk from hotel. Would definitely stay again.”

• It always smelled fresh when I walked into the hotel.
• I don't think there was a pool or hot tub, that would have been nice.

• Do not pay attention to detail or follow-up.

“The room was fine and the location was great. My issue with my stay was that I sent my shirt in to be laundered at 5:00 a.m. on Friday morning and I didn't receive my shirt until Sunday night. They delivered my shirt to the wrong room and the person in that room wore it. I called four times and was told they would investigate because they had no idea where my shirt was. They stated that they would contact me and I never received a response until my 4th call which is when they told me it was delivered to the wrong room and had been worn by the guest in that room. Since there were no cleaners open on Sunday, they would have to wash it in their own machines and would have someone press it. The shirt came back smelling of the stench of their towels and bed linens and whoever ironed the shirt did a poor job. I had to go to work looking like a mess and smelling like hotel laundry. I would stay at the hotel again, but I would never use any of their guest services.”

• The location is good, close to transportation and local sights.
• You have to pay for everything, $10 internet, $35 parking, $5 bottled water.

“This location was good but this is definitely a place where you are expected to have business pay for all your expenses because they want to add them up. Very nice room but don't drink the bottled water, its $5.”

• I really liked the room that they had booked me; it had a sliding window or door to step outside some.
• They have the only sets of elevators to go up to your room in one location so its a long walk to some room on the other side of the building.

• Attentive, knowledgeable staff, great location.
• Parking fees roll the dice for garage space.

“Upscale touches and conveniences (the fruit infused water in the lobby was a nice welcome after a warm day) abound. Concierge was always very helpful and made a great recommendation/reservation for a nearby eatery for dinner (we had a 2-yr old with us, and needed someplace that wouldn't turn up their nose). Only drawback was paying $30/night for parking in their garage, and praying that there was space.”

• The location and quality of the hotel far exceeded our expectations.
• Not a thing!

“The hotel was conveniently located 5 blocks from the white house. The night tour of the monuments left directly from the hotel and provided a great opportunity to see our Nations capitol.”
