An all-suite Hotel, the Carlyle Suites is the official art-deco Hotel of Washington. The 170 efficiency suites provide fully equipped kitchenettes, 65 channel cable TV, AM/FM clock radios, multi-line phones with data ports and voice mail, irons/boards and hair dryers. Private in-coming phone lines ring directly to the suites. The suites contain one king bed or two double beds, most also contain a full-size sofa-sleeper. Children under 18 stay free in same suite as adults. Small pets are welcome. Microwaves and coffee makers are available on request. 4 non-smoking floors. Complimentary access to a full-service health club just blocks away. Coin-operated laundry and daily valet service. Dine in the wonderful and intimate *Carlyle Bistro* or walk to any number of local and international restaurants within an easy stroll. Enjoy cocktails in the Art Deco *Lillie*s* Bar off the lobby. Comfy tempurpedic bed, huge suite and eco-friendly.
Only wired internet access in the rooms. Wireless in lobby only.

Great location, comfortable beds.
No towel bars.

“Nice location, easy walks to Metro. Within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops. Area felt very safe, lots of people out walking at most times of the day. We enjoyed having a small kitchen in the room. Worked out great with kids.”

The rooms were adequate for a business traveler.
The public spaces are inconvenient owing to ongoing construction work and there is no internet in the rooms.

“I think the Carlyle Suites is adequate for a business traveler; however it has certain drawbacks, i.e. no internet in the rooms and construction in the public spaces.”
