“Great location. Metro stop 15 feet from hotel front door. However, upgrade to a suite unless you want have to go out into the hallway to turn around. Not suited for more than one person in a room.”

“This Club Quarters location worked well for me. It was closer - 2 metro stops - to my conference than expected and was central enough that I could travel with ease to various parts of DC. The room was nice without being extravagant, and the service at the hotel was FANTASTIC.”

“Suitable for business person. Nice club room to get on computers provided. Not really geared to leisure travelers with clothes to unpack, negligible closet and virtually no dresser. Shower stalls but no bath tub. Restaurant attached but not a coffee shop type and doesn't open till lunch. Construction all around and very noisy inside the room from outdoor activities (especially on the second floor).”

“It is okay for a traveler that is going to be in town and only needs a place to sleep. For me (65) with my daughter (34) it was okay. However, for me and my husband, or seniors, he would need more overall comfort. Such as enough space to sit in an arm chair to rest his neck - enough space to have on a TV without interrupting another's space. For the short trip of sightseeing and the convenience of the being able to walk anywhere (if able) it was great. I, personally, would not book this hotel with my husband. With a younger person, it was just fine.”

“The CQ in Washington DC. is located conveniently for leisure and business traveling. It's close to the metro and all the points of interest. The service, cleanliness and the amenities are excellent. There is also a club room with complimentary workstations and internet access.”

“Good for business people who don't like a lot of fuss. Minimalist rooms. Free internet, near a metro stop. Once the construction on both sides of the hotel are completed, it will be a much nicer experience. And once they are less stingy with pillows of better quality, I would be happy to recommend the hotel to business people and couples without children.”

“I did not know what to expect of Club Quarters, a private membership hotel in the heart of DC. Little information was available prior to check in, as it is a private membership establishment. Parking was a few blocks away and in-and-out privileges, did not exist as advertised by Club Quarters. It cost $60 to park my rental car for three nights, checked in Wednesday night, departed Saturday morning. The rooms were tiny, hardly enough room for a bed, but the amenities were nice. The size of the room is insignificant if you spend little time in the room. Overall, it was great as many hotels in the DC area were quite spendy!”

“Rooms too small. No bathtub available. When arrived for reservation at 1pm they said no room was available for us. At 2pm another person walked in and they gave her a room. We contacted your customer service, they took my number and said they would call the hotel and then call us back. We are still waiting for that call (but it has only been a week!).”

“The hotel is more than adequate. It provides a comfortable, clean room and is situated in an excellent location. It is a bit more Spartan that many hotels, but its cleanliness and facilities are quite good. I would recommend this hotel.”

“Perhaps other Club Quarters meet the 3 star criteria, but the DC location is horrible. Should be ranked as a 2 star. Reminded me of Murrary Hill Suites (2 star) in NYC. I pray I never have to stay at this location again. Towels were not clean, lots of hair on bathroom floor, small bed, cheap mattress, small room (you can almost touch both walls if you stretch out your arms.) Matchbox is more like it. Horrible. Definitely not 3 stars. No way.”

“Clean, pleasant; staff was very friendly & helpful without being overbearing; the only down part was the metro station right next to the hotel is closed on weekends but the next one is only 1 block away.”

“Club Quarters are a new breed of hotel, meant for business travelers but perfect for travelers as well. All of the amenities are based on being self sufficient, from the computers for check in to the guest closet in the hallway with ironing boards and extra pillows. They have room service from the restaurant at the hotel, but also have menus from several local spots as well, for convenient in room dining with only a nominal fee, no mark ups on the prices. The rooms are small, but more than adequate and expected for a downtown hotel. The location of this hotel is ideal, close to the white house, many restaurants, as well as the metro train. The only catch is these hotels are not open to the public, per se, and trying to extend our stay involved calling the corporate office.”

“The hotel is in an excellent location, has comfortable beds, and a helpful staff. The rooms are small and somewhat cramped. It was a bit annoying that the room did not have its own ironing board and that I had to continue to go out into the hallway to get one. Overall it was a pleasant experience and a pretty good value.”

“Staff made us feel guilty about having 4 people in one room. Hotel was clean enough no fancy services. Not enough towels, face cloths or pillows for the 4, we had to request and they were brought to us reluctantly.”
