  • Free
WIFI internet, free water bottles, free printer.
  • The rooms are small.

“The hotel was great, near the subway and within walking distance of all the sites. This room met my expectations and then some.”

  • Great location.
  • There was a constant droning sound that I think came from outside but couldn't locate the source of it.

“The room was on the small side but still had room for a desk and an arm chair. Clean rooms and very comfortable bed. There was a filtered, cold water dispenser on each floor with empty plastic bottles. Also on each floor was a closet that held extra coffee and creamers, iron and board and extra blankets. The ice maker is in the basement with the exercise equipment. The restaurant next door had an entrance from the hotel or the street. They provided room service but I didn't get an answer when I called (although I did eat lunch there once and the food was very good). The hotel also provided menus from several restaurants that delivered. The staff is friendly and helpful.”

  • It was in an excellent location and the
    cost was great!

“It was conveniently located 2 blocks from the White House and all other major sightseeing. The Metro was located directly next to the Metro and extremely easy to access and use. The rooms were very clean and the sheets smelled fresh. I asked for extra coffee to make a pot and the staff was there immediately. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I would definitely stay there again!”

  • Great location, stylish room design, great value.

“This hotel has small rooms but comfortable and is one of the best values in the heart of DC. The rooms have a nice contemporary design and some of the rooms over look Farragut Square park. The Orange/Blue line Metro station entrance is directly under this hotel.”

  • Conveniently located, safe area, very reasonable, very neat and clean.
  • No fridge or microwave in all rooms. My friend's room for the same price and size had one. Also, singles should be less expensive than doubles.

“A convenient and safe place to stay for a reasonable price when visiting Washington, DC.”

  • The location to the White House and monuments was ideal for first-time visitors.
  • The lobby was a bit uninviting and dark, also small.

“The hotel was great for what we needed - a place to crash with a clean room, comfy bed and clean bathroom. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the great location to Farragut Square and the White House.”

  • Proximity to attractions and museums.
  • Rooms a little small.

“It was great, staff was very helpful. Rooms nicely decorated. Close to Museums, attractions and Metro.”

  • Clean looks like the rooms were fairly new and decor nice.
  • Didn't get enough towels.

“The hotel was very nice. Very convenient to everything. I would definitely go there again. Rooms very clean and new looking.”

  • Location.
  • No parking.

“Hotel is very old. No parking had to pay $28.00 to leave our vehicle two blocks away. Very noisy in the room from the streets outside. Ok to stay there one night. Could not imagine trying to stay more than that.

  • NA.
  • Had to go to basement for Ice and room service only between 5 pm - 9 pm.

“The rooms were very cramped and not made for comfort. There was no bathtubs to take a bath or relax in (shower only). Room service was from 5 pm - 9 pm only. TV was mounted on the wall half the length of room away so it was uncomfortable to watch. You have to go to the basement for vending machine or ice. Rooms were only designed to work and then sleep in. Comfort was not designed into the room at all.”

  • Location.
  • No parking, AC didn't work well.

“Good location but room was very small and there was no hotel parking (none). Parking was 3-4 blocks away and if you were out late past 12AM the parking garage was closed. AC in hotel didn't work very good.”

  • Location.
  • No parking for cars or valet service.

“Room was very small and the AC did not work very well. Good location but there was no parking at the hotel - not even valet service. Parking was 2 blocks from hotel and closed at 12PM if you were staying out late you were out of luck.”

  • Great location.
  • Room was painfully small, tiny, miniscule, Lilliputian.

“Great location. Metro stop 15 feet from hotel front door. However, upgrade to a suite unless you want have to go out into the hallway to turn around. Not suited for more than one person in a room.”

  • Close to metro and bus lines. Close to National Mall.
  • Bath supplies, poor quality bed linens. No safe in room.

“This Club Quarters location worked well for me. It was closer - 2 metro stops - to my conference than expected and was central enough that I could travel with ease to various parts of DC. The room was nice without being extravagant, and the service at the hotel was FANTASTIC.”

  • The room was adequate, the bathroom was very small and minimalist.
  • Every sound from the street - construction, sirens, car doors, street conversations - were in our room.

“Suitable for business person. Nice club room to get on computers provided. Not really geared to leisure travelers with clothes to unpack, negligible closet and virtually no dresser. Shower stalls but no bath tub. Restaurant attached but not a coffee shop type and doesn't open till lunch. Construction all around and very noisy inside the room from outdoor activities (especially on the second floor).”

  • Location was very good for Washington DC-could walk anywhere and had metro right there.
  • There was construction of new building outside windows.

“It is okay for a traveler that is going to be in town and only needs a place to sleep. For me (65) with my daughter (34) it was okay. However, for me and my husband, or seniors, he would need more overall comfort. Such as enough space to sit in an arm chair to rest his neck - enough space to have on a TV without interrupting another's space. For the short trip of sightseeing and the convenience of the being able to walk anywhere (if able) it was great. I, personally, would not book this hotel with my husband. With a younger person, it was just fine.”

  • Good location, clean, excel. Service.

“The CQ in Washington DC. is located conveniently for leisure and business traveling. It's close to the metro and all the points of interest. The service, cleanliness and the amenities are excellent. There is also a club room with complimentary workstations and internet access.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[7]

  • Near a metro stop.
  • Only 2 thin pillows in the room, not enough for 2 people.

“Good for business people who don't like a lot of fuss. Minimalist rooms. Free internet, near a metro stop. Once the construction on both sides of the hotel are completed, it will be a much nicer experience. And once they are less stingy with pillows of better quality, I would be happy to recommend the hotel to business people and couples without children.”
