“I thought the rooms could have been a bit bigger and it could have included some sort of breakfast. The in room menu prices were quite high in my opinion. Overall our stay was good great location I didn't use y car the whole time I was there except to go into DC.”

“Suite had an "island" in the middle, which reduced the usable floor space and made the three rooms--living room, bedroom, bath area--seem small and difficult to use. Internet was expensive ($13/day) and slow.”

“The hotel staff was very solicitous, especially given my aching back. They shuttled us all over. They referred us to a great restaurant. The Chart House. We were treated like VIPs based on their reservation with a free dessert, roses and solicitous visits by chef and maitre'd. We'd definitely go back.”

“The location was great if you want to spend time out of DC. The hotel shuttle to the metro was helpful and staff directed me on how to use the metro to get into the city. However, the hallway was loud at night and we had a buzzing sound coming from the vent which kept the kids awake. It was nice that they didn't allow children into the hot tub, gave parents a little respite too.”

“The hotel was clean, updated and convenient. Plenty of parking on the street meant I didn't have to pay $18 per day also. Easy access to old town Alexandria and dc. Great trip. Highly recommended.”

“Typically at the Sheraton you get excellent above and beyond concierge service, that was not the case here. The staff was not helpful at all. Everything cost extra such as parking, etc. The room was clean and bed was comfy! There was a lifeguard at the pool but it was only 3 feet deep all across and there were no towels several times. I expected more from a Sheraton hotel.”

“The hotel was what I expected of a 3-star hotel. Pool was clean and had a friendly lifeguard. Our room was on the small side but very comfortable. There was a grocery store 2 blocks down to buy food or other necessaries.”

“This is a great place to stay in DC!! Shuttle to Metro and Old Town is prompt, the staff is nice, and the entire place was clean as a whistle. I'd highly recommend it for anyone whether the trip is for business or pleasure.”

“The rooms were considerably smaller than other suite type hotels, but were set up to make the maximum use of space. The staff was fantastic, even with a large convention staying at the hotel (which we were not a part of) they took care of our family with ease. I never had to ask as they offered extra services (shuttle pick-ups and drop-offs outside of scheduled times and places, metro advice, directions, etc.). They made the difference between an okay stay and a great one.”

“Extra charge for internet access. Pool does not open before 4:00 p.m. We were coming from the Comfort Inn Williamsburg were all those extra amenities were provided at no extra cost, a bit disappointing.”

“This is unfortunate for Sheraton. With a reputable name, the standards should have been more attentive to details. The room was unbelievably filthy with stains on all furniture. Much better for business travelers as well as families on a budget.”
