“ I was not really pleased with this hotel. For a Hilton, it was by far the oldest looking and the worst I have stayed in. It is obviously an old building but the hotel in general needs an overhaul! The TV channels were pretty limited and they did not broadcast fox news. The gym was pathetic and they had no agreement with a gym that was close, although I saw a few. They did have an agreement with one much further away which made no sense. ”

“The hotel is pretty and the rooms were nice. It's near the metro which is good because in the very cold weather (when we went it was 22 degrees) you can't walk too much comfortably. I was discouraged that the only person around (behind the front desk) was unable to answer our question about restaurants that were good nearby. He gave us a pre-printed paper with about 25 restaurants on it in alphabetical order.”

“Convienent location in downtown, walkable distance from most of places. Food and parking ($35 + taxes) very expensive. It is a city hotel don't expect space like in resorts. Good if you are only looking for nearby place to stay in the night after spending most of he day in Washington downtown.”

“Good hotel - the restaurant is over priced, but most are. I gave up at breakfast after waiting for ten minutes for service. Rooms are comfortable and quiet.”

“Everything was nice except for the unexpected additional fees. Breakfast was not complimentary and cost more then it's worth. In addition, upon asking whether valet parking came with the room the staff member blindly said yes as I was surprised to find a receipt for more more money I did not plan on spending. After speaking with the manager who was anything but polite as she talked down to me, creating excuses stating that the valet staff doesn't know about whether a fee is involved, she neglected to acknowledge her staff's mistake as she did nothing but created more excuses on who my actions where mislead. I was very dissatisfied upon my departure from this hotel.”

“Overall, the hotel was very nice and I would go back. I was disappointed that the room did not have a refrigerator or microwave in it. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable. The close proximity to a Metro station was a big plus!”

“This hotel is well situated to DuPont Circle, and hence anywhere you might want to go in Downtown DC. It's a great place for business travelers, although they do charge for internet access.”

“The price for this hotel was not ok due to the price of parking on top of the 40 in tax. Parking was 30. There is no fridge in the room we stayed in. The food for breakfast which was room service; was terrible and very pricey. Don't eat here. Also last year I stayed in cy Marriott and was extremely clean, friendly, inexpensive, and had a fridge. Obviously starred below what I give it. (3 stars for cy).”

“The hotel is conveniently located close to Dupont Circle and the Metro. Friday night the water to the hotel was shut off due to maintenance from 11 PM-7 AM, which was a big inconvenience. Then the next morning around 8-8:30 AM, there were loud bangs that continued till the afternoon. Any chance of sleeping was out of the question.”
