Location was good.
Overall, not as nice/good as expecting.

Location.
Parking $20, not agreeable to extend for 1 hour.

“Perfectly located in safe neighborhood. Close to Dupont circle subway station, near the zoo. Although we did not seem to have a restaurant or bar right there, it is close to these establishments.”

Had apples and chocolate cookies at the entrance to welcome its guests.
In the fitness center the free weights are awfully picked. Hurt my fingers several times trying to use that old system.

Free internet/business center, cleaning staff quiet in mornings.
My door key didn't work a couple of times.

“Friendly and helpful staff overall. Business center extremely convenient although hot. I had a conference across the street at the Hilton but preferred to stay at Marriott. Worked out great.”

I like how the check out was easy and was able to do it over the hotel phone.
They stop serving dinner at 10pm and only has one level where there is a vending machine to buy something to eat.

The staff was very accommodating and a pleasure to speak with.
It would have been nice to have a complimentary breakfast instead of a 13.00 buffet.

Location, friendly staff, nice room.
Parking fee is way too high.

We were very pleased with the hotel for the location and the price!
Everything was just fine!

The staff was excellent.
Non-smoking and parking prices.

“I was pleased with the hotel for the price I paid, the only complaints I have was it wasn't advertised as a nonsmoking hotel which would have affect my choice and the parking prices were ridiculous! Over $25 a day! The staff was beyond excellent and very helpful. If not for the two complaints I mentioned I would stay there again happily.”

The bed and the sheets are glorious.
The valet service was slow.

“I was in town to interview for a job, and found the hotel to be very comfortable for a good sleep the night before my interview. I'm doing roughly 14 interviews in a 2 month period, and courtyard Marriott has become my preferred hotel for my travels. ”

Put in a handicap room, so sink not easy to use.

The staff was very nice and helpful and love the business center.
The halls in the hotel where not air-conditioned and the rooms air-condition leaked and soaked the floor in our room with no compensation or fix.

“I like the location and the staff but felt they should have offered like a breakfast voucher or some sort of remuneration for the carpet being soaked in our room. They did offer to move us but we where not back till 8 or 9 pm, so packing and moving all our things was really more difficult, then avoiding the 1/4 of the carpeted soaked with water.”

Excellent location, right on the border of Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan.
Prices for breakfast were absurd, and the lobby bathrooms were somewhat unkempt.

“Quite satisfied, and really no complaints. I was pleasantly surprised by the building, the room, the accommodations, the decor, the staff and the overall high level of the operation. $70/night in a quality hotel a few blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro would be very hard to beat.”

Very friendly front desk staff.
Road pathways very tight around hotel.

“Extremely friendly courteous hotel staff. Very professional. The location is excellent it is close to everything. Hotel room was clean. The hotel isn't too large. I would stay at this hotel again.”

I liked the bedding. its all cotton and they put more pillows on the beds. They gave me a king. This is a plus.
I did not like the parking area near the hotel. I really hated the parking situation and they have a monopoly on it, the nearby parking meters suck.

“The hotel is nice. The bedding is cozy and comfortable along with the beds and pillows. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was nice to have available until 11, I think they should do it as a brunch and go until 2, I felt like if I wanted a meal, I had to miss sleeping in and make it to the breakfast. All in all, a nice hotel.”

Great location.
Price of parking.

“This hotel is located in DuPont Circle close to numerous restaurants and bars. It is also only four blocks from Adams Morgan. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and their level of service is excellent.”

Great location and dollar value.
Nothing.

“My room was large and comfortable and the reception was able to get me great directions out to my event in VA. I recommend this place highly and was sorry I wasn't staying a second night.”

Close to many restaurants and attractions, hotel staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were clean.
Rooms were small.

Lovely staff, especially in the restaurant.
A long 4-block uphill walk from Metro.

“If you don't drive, this hotel is a little difficult. There's a bus route in front, but service was not very reliable. The room was well-equipped and comfortable, a nice size but not huge. The hotel restaurant is lovely. I'd stay here again, but it would not be my first choice. Value was very good.”
