• Great location.
• Small rooms.

“Latham is great for sightseeing (monuments, Capitol Mall, Georgetown etc). Not so great for families or business travelers - hotel is older and the rooms are tiny. The location makes up for it though.”

• I liked the rooftop pool and that it was quiet.
• A far walk to the nearest DC Metro Station.

“Pleasant, clean, upscale hotel. Unfortunately, it was about an 8 block walk to the nearest Metro station, which wasn't bad early in the day, but after a day of walking all around DC, made for a long walk back. The hotel itself was great though!”

“Small, boutique-style hotel, with excellent beds. Great location on M Street, near many really good restaurants. Friendly, professional staff always willing to go out of their way for their guests.”

• No complimentary visitors parking. There was no micro oven at every floor for common use. Its very bad. No complimentary internet service.

No complimentary Internet service. I stayed many hotels. Almost every hotel has micro oven service, complementary Internet service (No charge), complimentary breakfast and complementary guest and visitor parking. Overall, the service is not bad, but I think Latham hotel can improve their service by providing the above facilities, which I have mentioned.”

“We were able to check in three hours early. Room was very clean and well equipped. Although the bathroom was very small it had everything you needed. The location is good with lots of shops and restaurants close by.”

• Very high quality, great service, and perfectly located!
• No windows in my room.

“Located right on M Street in Georgetown, the Latham Hotel is great find. The service began when we drove up. They opened our doors, unloaded our luggage, and made us feel like royalty. The beds were extremely comfortable, as if I were at home. Because of that I will stay there again.”

• In good neighborhood, well appointed, friendly staff.
• Not near Metro stations, pay-per-view TV didn't work, chair in our room was threadbare.

• The surrounding location had lots of shops and food options.
• Relatively poor quality rooms. Needs to be gutted and renovated.

• The beds are uncomfortable and there was no vending machine for drinks or ice on my floor.

• Convenient, reasonably safe location.
• Location of rooms was a little confusing.

“This hotel is great for the traveler who wants close proximity to night life, restaurants, shops and boutiques. Despite the long walk to the Metro, the Latham has easy access to local transportation with the Georgetown bus for a small fee. The room met my needs, but if I was traveling with my family, I would have required a much larger room.”
