• The helpfulness of the staff.
• Distance to metro.

“The only issue I had with this hotel was the fact that the metro, which I used frequently, was about a half hour walk from the hotel. It could have been much quicker if the conveniently located roads weren't always blocked off, though. The hotel did provide a complimentary shuttle to the station, but I would not want to rely on using it as the driver took frequently 2+ hour breaks.”

• Staff showed great customer service attitude. Bathrooms clean!

  had a smoking room and it smelled like it. Also upholstered chairs had holes and windows were dirty.

“The guests were pleasant, the staff were great, shuttle service reliable. Great location for dining and browsing in Georgetown.
A bit more attention to aesthetics of room would help.
I would stay again.”

• Free parking on the street during weekend behind hotel.
• Hotel room was very dark.

“Holiday Inn Washington Georgetown has clean, but functional rooms and is located next to a Safeway grocery store and an Einstein Bros. shop. This hotel was perfect for my sightseeing tour in Washington, because it is close to downtown Washington for a reasonable price and is located at the famous Georgetown shopping street Wisconsin Ave.”

• Two of the staff were pleasant and tried their best.
• Not what I expected from this hotel.

“There is not much I liked about this hotel. The first interaction was the lack of communication from the front desk about the shuttle. The shuttle was unpredictable at best. One passenger even got into a heated argument with the shuttle driver. The shuttle itself was old, worn, and did not have use of air conditioning in the heat of late July. My room was not entirely cleaned when I arrived the bars of soap from the previous guest were still out and a used towel was behind the door. Even though I had a non-smoking room and had non-smoking rooms surrounding my room, the hallway was heavy with the smell of smoke, which permeated slightly into my room. The location of the hotel was far from everything. If possible, try to stay in another hotel.”

“This is a mid-level quality hotel, commensurate with standard 2-star. So this was a big surprise and huge disappointment.”

“Nice, convenient, well serviced, clean. had no trouble after checking in. Recommended and would stay here in the future with no hesitation.”

• Owner was friendly told us about bus routes, etc.
• Not willing to please the customer.

“We only received one bed. We get there in a small room with our two kids. They ended up charging us for a cot. We get no pillows with the cot. Never again will I stay here.”

• The concierge at the hotel and the hotel shuttle staff as well as the food and staff in the restaurant was superb!
• No fridge or microwave in room.

• The explanations of the services of the hotel.

“The room was great, the location was relatively convenient (depending on what you're trying to do), and the customer service was most helpful. However, the hotel staff assumed we were familiar with the hotel and the area and as a result gave us less detailed descriptions of what was available to us.”

• The location was about the only thing.
• The service at the hotel was terrible. Worst hotel experience ever.

“The parking was terrible had to park blocks away from the hotel. The management was unfriendly as well as the staff.”

• People were very friendly.
• Nowhere near the metro. Shuttle stepped at 8:30.

“Our only complaint was that it was not near a metro, so for two twenty-something's who wanted to go out at night, it was inconvenient. Cab fares weren't too bad though.14 bucks from the Convention Center in a "gypsy" cab. Parking was very expensive too! Best if you come without a car and don't plan on going out at night!”
