“We went to visit the Washington museums and sights, so the hotel was only a place to sleep. Don't expect more than that. It was moderate, which I think is a bit of a stretch.”

“In my opinion, It isn't a hotel that can fairly be described as within the Foggy bottom area. It is in a really weird area -- sandwiched into a large hospital complex.”

“Overall my stay at the hotel was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was located in the middle of Georgetown University, close to shopping and quaint coffee shops. The room was clean, tidy and spacious. During my travels, parking fees were always waived for hotel guests, the room did not have a fridge.”

“The front desk staff were not very knowledgeable. When we arrived they were not too sure what was available on campus except for the faculty club which was very nice. We went for a walk on campus the last day and there were two food courts on campus less then five minutes from the hotel.”

“Terrible location. No access to DC Metro and it took almost an hour to find a taxi. Don't stay here.”

“Parking rate of $25 a day was ridiculous! The room temperature was impossible to control for all 6 rooms. We were unable to obtain joined rooms even though we asked early and were all on the same floor.”

“Hotel was nice and staff nice but were not guest friendly. I needed a band-aid and the hotel did not have one. No internet access in room-maintenance issues-had to use bus, center to the tune of $.99 per min (outrageous) and the restaurant was close on night for a private function which was very inconvenient.”

“Did not use dining facilities. Lobby so sparsely furnished, it was not a place one would want to sit. Room had lovely view, and was clean, although the carpet was stained in several places. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom small but adequate and perfectly clean.”

“After staying there, I could not understand why this hotel had such a high star rating or such a high retail price. The front desk staff was friendly but sparse, no doorman, location was poor; all important factors in ratings. Moreover, the only dining choices were Cozi and Starbucks, neither of which are run by the hotel or are open in the evenings after 5:30pm or on weekends. Moreover, despite this hotel's drawbacks, hotel parking was expensive ($25/24hrs), and they charged for wi-fi. The room and beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean, and shower-head was good. I would say the cleaning staff are this hotel's best asset for the value they contribute.”

“It took us 1.5 - 2 hours each day to get to the National Mall area. We stayed in town to avoid that. The restaurants at the hotel close early in the summer. Only the most expensive stays open late and on weekends. The book in the room is out of date and inaccurate. The room is cramped and has no table. There's only one chair in the entire room. There is no pool or spa.”

“The hotel was excellent. Staff was very helpful and directed me around the area well when I had questions. Aside from the parking, a good hotel in a great location and fairly good value.”

“Tried to charge us for parking - pool - even though pool ended up being closed - shuttle never ran - restaurants were all closed.”

“The staff was outstanding, location convenient, and I loved that there was a Starbucks in house. For what we paid, it was an outstanding value.”

“The staff of this hotel need a class in simple manners. They don't even try to meet the guest's needs and they're okay with it. This location is not conducive for tourist to DC.”
