“Was a huge surprise. Walked to
Jima Memorial, Arlington and close to Metro. Room was very reasonable with relatively new decor.”

“This is a reasonably priced moderate hotel for the area. The beds were in good condition, flat screen cable TV and bath/shower combo were appreciated. The restaurant/bar attached to the Hotel was a bit pricey, but quick and tasty. The best value for us was the proximity to the Metro and the ability to park our vehicle at the location.”

“The place was great, the staff was great and it was very affordable. You could easily walk to all public transportation. If you are going to D C to see the sights this is a great place to start.”

“Convenience to the metro was awesome, but they lied about their indoor, heated pool. Was
very upset about that, after spending a day walking in the city, it would have been nice to relax in the pool.”

“Small hotel with excellent staff. The room was cozy, clean and well established with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Had on site laundry, convenient for extended stay. Staff always made sure the complimentary coffee was never empty!”

“Hotel is off the beaten path a little, but not hard to find or get in and out of. The first impression is a little deceiving - actually seems well run and well cared for. I felt safe and enjoyed my stay.”

“We were very satisfied with this hotel. Our room was clear and equipped enough for even longer staying. From hotel is also very easy to get to Roslyn metro station.”

“I was amazed that this hotel is still open. I took a fall because of the contours of the steps outside the room. The overall impression is depressing.”

“This is an excellent location for sightseeing or business in DC. A 3 block walk takes you to the Metro, and a little bit further walk takes you to Iowa Jima Memorial/Arlington Cemetery. We were on the Mall in about 10 minutes of travel time from the Metro station in Roslyn. The only drawback was that the room was a bit small, but the sumptuousness of the room made up for it. As our 10 year old grandson said when he sank into the soft, upscale linens & bedding, this is so cool! The indoor pool is a nice size, and a lifeguard/attendant keeps clean towels available at all times. Our grandson would have liked the pool to remain open later than 9:00 pm, but once he got to the room and showered, etc., it was time for bed anyway. We were all exhausted, in a good way, from seeing the sights in DC, but we were very happy with hotel. A word about the restaurant (Ledo) across the parking lot--our grandson loved the pizza and other things he picked out for his meals, but the service was terrible. Our waitress didn't speak English and she got our order wrong even after we pointed to the picture of what we wanted on the menu. Our grandson ordered the same thing 3 nights in a row, and all three times it was completely different! We never knew what to expect. However, it is very convenient, not too expensive and has a full breakfast. We found a McDonald's & Ruby Tuesday near the Metro station, and that made meals convenient also.”

“This hotel is a great place to stay if you are going to DC simply to see the sights, however if you need to do any computer work it is not feasible with their connection.”

“My expectations were low but the staff made up for it being an older hotel. The AC wasn't working very well on first check in and they had it fixed in 15 minutes. I asked the maintenance person about the cable TV being so bad and he said the tower had great AC but terrible cable. it needed to be rewired. All in all the stay was great.”

“Hotel is in good location for D.C. Metro within easy walking distance. This isn't a new hotel and looks a little tired, but we weren't in DC for the hotel. We were out by 9 am and back after 9 pm. It has all the amenities you need. Someone seeking more creature comforts (nearby shopping, restaurants etc) might be disappointed, but it was great for us.”
