• It was convenient to where we wanted to be.
• The bathrooms were having some kind of sewage problem-the smell was awful.

“We should have immediately asked for different rooms because of the sewage smell in the room. The housekeeping staff rushed in ahead of us to spray some kind of horribly fragrant "air freshener" in the rooms to cover the smell. The front desk could not get off the phones to converse with real customers appearing in person. The tablecloths in the "breakfast area" were stained from one day to the next. The pool is only open from 12 noon to 8 PM - times when everyone is sightseeing or taking care of business. Otherwise, we felt fairly safe, conveniently located, and the towels were clean.”

• Pretty quiet, easy travel to DC and the room was very nice.
• Staff was not very helpful regarding attractions in DC.

“All in all it was very good. We did have trouble using our key card once because of computer trouble. The shuttle service to the Metro could use an upgrade due to amount of customers using it at peak hours.”

• Close to interstate and downtown.
• Pool hours short closed to early.

“This hotel was close to interstate with good access to downtown Washington and Arlington Cem.”

• It was easy to get to US Capital. The hotel shuttle was alright.
• Very bad internet connection.

“Overall the hotel was alright with respect to its price. Furthermore, using the hotel shuttle, it was easy to get to the US Capital although it was a little bit time consuming. By the way, the main issue I had with this hotel was its internet connection. It was so slow that I was not able to check even my emails. When I called the hotel reception in this regard, the receptionist gave me the hotel's internet provider and asked me that I myself call their internet provider company. Another issue of this hotel was that the maids were moving our stuff. It was the first time that I was seeing that maids touch the guests' stuff. Finally, over the night, I was hearing the noise from the adjacent rooms.”

• Price.
• Internet and location.

“Unreliable wireless connection in room. Close to Reagan airport but not close enough to a Metro Station. Shuttle service to nearest Metro does not run late enough or frequently enough. At least a 20 minute drive to DC. Room quality was decent.”

• The people and location were great!
• There is no elevator to the second floor rooms where we stayed.

“This is a great place that is close to everything like Arlington Cemetery and DC!”

• The room was very clean, including the tub which often gets overlooked.
• The driveway was a bit tight and confusing.

“The service of the desk clerks when we checked in was excellent. They both bent over backwards to help us with directions.”

• I was able to leave 1 hour after getting there.
• Where to start - odor, room, vents, people, age of the building, no ac.

“We arrived and there was no ac. Actually they said it was not turned on throughout the hotel, but the heat was on. The room thermometer indicated the room temp was already 79 degrees. Since they were unable to turn on the ac they offer us 2 options. 1) Open the doors and the room would cool off from the outside temp, but our question was what happens at night while we are sleeping?!? The room also had a strange odor while the vents for the heat/ac had what appeared to be moldy dust. After 20 minutes we went to the front desk, and after and hour of arguing with the front desk our money was refunded in full, and we walked across the lot to the comfort inn. Something to note' while at the front desk they received 3 other complaints (1 was sparks from the bathroom light, another was strange sounds from the walls, and the last brown water and a backed up sink). On 2 separate occasions the guests from the best western were sent over to the comfort inn simply because the best western had run out of food. Overall this is an old building that needs a wrecker. My recommendation a'' keep looking!”
