• Staff was friendly and helpful.
• Plumbing!

“At 5:00 in the morning we were awakened by a very loud squealing noise that persisted for at least 5 minutes. The hotel staff confirmed that there is a problem with the plumbing system. They are apparently planning renovations. You can't beat the value for a location in Chevy Chase, presuming the renovations occur and the plumbing problem is remedied.”

• Great location, close to American university, comfy bed, very reasonable price.
• Kind of scary parking garage.

“I found this hotel to be convenient to American university in a nice shopping area. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy with nice linens that I would expect to find in a B&B. Friendly service and staff, I will definitely stay there again.”

• The breakfast buffet was excellent.
• The staff was underwhelming and the hotel needs a refit.

“This is a tired Holiday Inn property that needs a refit, the carpets replaced and general mechanics checked over. It did have free internet, a point in its favor.”

“This hotel is very conveniently located hotel in Chevy chase near shopping and excellent restaurants. In addition there is a grocery store close by for purchases. The rooms are comfortable and very clean.”

• They up graded my room to a suite.
• The plumbing was not properly attended to.

“The hotel was confidently situated not far from a metro station and between the nigh and downtown. It is 30 minutes by metro from Reagan National Airport. The food at the hotel restraint was fine as was the smaller breakfast and lunch cafe. The staff was curious and helpful. I would stay there again.”

• Clean, great location, nice sized room and great price.
• No one on the desk late at night, hot and cold water was hard to mix in the shower and sink.

“I would use this hotel again and am considering using it for a group meeting. They have meeting rooms and restaurant and a cafe and I love the location.”
