• Full size refrigerator, adequate floor space.
• Bed too hard, decor very bland.

“We had been staying at the Wyndham Old Town Alexandria, a time share, but needed another night. This place was close and clean. No pool, Jacuzzi etc. This place has a huge laundry room but no other amenities. It is more suited to a very budget minded traveler that needs to stay here for an extended time.”

“My husband stays at this hotel for business during the week. I joined him there for the weekend recently and was pleased with the location; there was so much to see and do nearby. The staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The value for the price was outstanding.”

• It had a laundry facility.
• The location was too far from public transportation.

“Great if you have a car, otherwise, don't use this hotel. It is over one mile from the nearest food or public transportation. There was no shuttle service, ATM or restaurant in the inn.”

• Location was so far away from everything.

“Good place if you want nothing. Pizza delivery in area stops at midnight. Locked in nearly every road during rush hour. Metro station is over a mile walk away, but it stops at midnight also.”

• It was located in a relatively quiet area of Alexandria VA.
• The temperature in the public spaces was very warm.

• Liked the full kitchen & the fact that the room was cleaned weekly.
• You definitely have to have a car to stay there. Otherwise it is the bus to the subway. No restaurants near by.

“Far from Metro station. Bus available from Metro station, but no operation after 8:00 pm. Kitchen is helpful.”

• Nothing.
• No transportations, not in DC as stated, would not provide transportation from Metro stations, suggested to walk with luggage 10-15 minutes to reach it.

“This was an extended stay facility, travelers should be informed that it is not a full service hotel which provided no transportation from metro stations to facility. Staff was basically rude when comparison were made as if the traveler should have known the differences between a hotel and an extended stay inn.”

• The room was a little dingy, the bedding was old and needed to be replaced.

“If you don't plan to stay in the room much and you'll be out mostly, it's definitely worth the nightly rate. Plus old town Alexandria is very close by and really awesome to hang out at. If you're trying to impress someone, this is not the place to do it.”

• Every time I land at this hotel something goes wrong.

“This is the second time in a row I have had my offer accepted in DC and ended up at this hotel. When I got there, I was told they were oversold. So, instead of calling me and give me a heads up, I had to leave there and drive about 15 more miles to get to a different hotel that they transferred my reservation to. This is getting ridiculous with this hotel. I did not fill out any of the survey since I didn't actually stay at this hotel.”

“This hotel is in an awesome location. Very close to Downtown DC, but away from the hectic Downtown. Good for business travelers. No free wireless though, which is too bad. Wireless should be included in hotel rooms now as it is widely available.”

• Front office was helpful and informative.
• Hotel is too remote. No public transport or restaurants nearby.

“Hotel was clean and the kitchen facility was an unexpected surprise. Great for long-stay, adequate for my use. No form of public transport seemed to be available, so if you don't have a car, you're "stuck". Front desk should offer information on places of interest and what's nearby as far as restaurants, etc.”

• Convenient location.
• No indoor swimming pool.

“This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It is very easy to reach from I-95. Since I was attending a meeting in DC on Saturday I was able to drive up the street and park for free at the metro station which was very close to the hotel. I only wish I had stayed over one more night.”

• Has a kitchen, and the room is much bigger than I expected.
• No room cleaning everyday.

“The hotel is much better than I expected. The room is pretty big, and it has a kitchen. The hotel even provides pots, plates, and knives. Even though it is in Virginia, you can take a bus to the metro and then take the metro to the city. It is not that far to be honest, takes 20 minutes or so to go to downtown DC. I would recommend.”
