Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[5]

  • Large room, great restaurant, nice gym.
  • Room AC was set to 65 degrees, both days, much too cold.

“Nice, open common area, large room, comfortable big bed. Decent bathroom. Charged extra for internet. A bit out of the way if you do not have a car. Nice gym, great restaurant, open, and spacious feeling.”

  • Good location.
  • Trying to push smoking area, and charges for parking which is supposed to be free.

“Front office staff took lots of time to give a room and trying to give a room in smoking section. Charged for parking in spite it was free for other travelers.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Beautiful.
  • Had to pay for WiFi.

“Upscale hotel with lots of amenities. Surprised there was a parking fee when it is not in the city. Very surprised there was a fee to use the business center and WiFi.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[7] • Location:[9]

  • Room service polite and prompt.
  • Husking took 4 of our personal glasses and didn't do anything but "check for them".

“All and all very nice.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • It's not far from the highway, very convenient. Beautiful view.
  • The main floor was under construction, but that's a temporary thing, of course.

“Courteous, professional staff. Conveniently located near the highway. Beautiful view of the park and pond. Excellent breakfast that was offered to us free of charge, honoring my Hilton rewards card.”

“Great hotel, easy to find.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[7] • Location:[4]

  • The manager was very professional when we voiced our complaints.
  • They gave us a room with only a pull-out sofa (no bed).

“The hotel was a little shabby, and the lobby & bar area were not well maintained or cleaned. The rooms were clean enough, but since the hotel was overbooked, they gave us a pull-out sofa bed. We were very unhappy overall.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Hotel was beautiful. One of the best were ever stayed in.
  • 400 grade scholars arrived and tied up the elevators fro awhile.

“Its a Hilton hotel, a quality brand name and it lives up to its reputation, very impressed as was my wife.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[3]

  • Comfortable, elegant.
  • Poor directions from staff on catching hotel shuttle to MTA.

“This hotel is good and deserved a 3-star rating. It was very far away from restaurants, so it was hard to find affordable food nearby.”

“This is a very nice hotel and the food was very good and prices are fair. I would stay there again and again.”

  • Everything was horrible.

“No room delivery, did not replace the face cloths, was put in smoking area when requested non-smoking, no complimentary breakfast, no free internet service etc.”

“Hotel was great but location for leisure lacked.”

Apr 29, 2008 by Jenny from Lawrenceville, VA

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • The bedding was incredibly comfortable.
  • They charged for every little thing, even internet.

“With it's supremely comfortable bedding, our fabulous room with a balcony overlooking a pond with a fountain, and the amazing staff, I'd love to recommend this hotel to everyone. Unfortunately, I can't. While great for business travelers with expense accounts or well-off senior leisure travelers, it was shocking for our little family to discover that it was their policy to sell everything. They charged $10/day for a crib. Internet access was $10 a day! These are things that you expect to be included with your room at an Econolodge! I was half expecting to be charged for the little shampoo and soap! Room Service charges are expected; parking charges are unfortunate, but usual for a metropolitan area. But cribs and internet? Pathetic.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Clean with a nice view of a pond with fountain; comfortable.
  • A little stale feeling in my area; lacking character.

“Nice, comfortable, convenient. Very satisfactory. A nice place to stay, though it lacked in unique character.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[8]

  • The room was nicely appointed and bed very comfortable.
  • I didn't like paying for overnight parking.

“I thought overall it was a lovely hotel and staff was friendly and helpful. Did not get to use all amenities as I was only there one night. I would stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • The staff was very friendly.
  • I expected the room to look nicer then it was.

“I've spent the same amount of money and stayed at a nicer hotel before.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[3] • Location:[2]

  • The staff was very friendly.
  • The staff was very friendly but poorly trained.

“The exits were duct taped opened. We had black mold in our shower. The toilet leaked and the solution given to us by the maintenance engineer was to lift the lid and jiggle the arm after each flush. This was my first and last time staying at a Hilton Hotel.”

Apr 9, 2008 by Ming from Toronto, ON CA
Overall Rating: 7 Overall user rating
Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[6] • Location:[8]

  • Good location to Washington DC.
  • I booked two rooms, but when I arrived, the staff said only one room available.

“Well, generally, the hotel was good. When I arrived, the staff told me there was only one room available, and there was no other available. So they located another room for me which was actually a living room's sofa bed. Comparing with the standard room, the sofa bed was not that comfortable though.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Indoor Pool, view from room.
  • No newspaper box for weekend paper and you must wait for gift shop to open.

“Nice hotel, elevator rugs were run down. Did not have our requested early check in ready. Hotel was not full so this is inexcusable neglect on behalf of the front desk manager.”
