• Okay for the price.
• No one in the lobby when we left but they had a drop box for the room keys.

“Okay for the price. Lobby sign said it was not open until 6:00am it was 6:11am when we left and it was not open for coffee and juice.”

• The owner/manager was very friendly.
• The room door was in very poor condition.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. The lock on my room door was broken and had to be pushed back into the door itself in order to actually lock. The room was also a smoking room.”

• The pool was very nice and the location was great.
• The rooms were dated and not the cleanest.

“The hotel was ok for a short stay. The pool was nice and gas prices in the area were below average.”

• Convenience to Carlisle Fairgrounds.
• Poor continental breakfast, of bagels, muffins, milk, coffee, tea & orange juice.

“I did not rate the hotel high because of the late night noise, poor quality continental breakfast and obvious of the poor quality maintenance previously performed in the room. The room was clean but needed a general fix up.”

• Absolutely nothing.
• Everything.

“The hotel and management were both poor. There were fleas and bugs in the linen. And the toilet was dirty. Which I had brought to the owner's attention. And he was not too happy about me saying anything. My room ended up dirtier. There were sanitary issues. And we noticed that their pool was. Or had been shut down due to sanitary problems. We did not stay there for more than one night.”

• The room had multiple beds.
• The room had an unattractive sent and a very unclean feels.

“Did not feel welcome at hotel, the room was not clean smelled funny, sheets and pillows had highly visible stains, not enough towels or bathroom commodities, very unsatisfied with the trip.”

“The hotel staff was rude, the room including the carpets were filthy! The mattress had holes and the pillows were discolored. The shower had black mold on the shower curtains and walls. There were people outside our door drinking and yelling until three a.m. I understand that the hotel was a 1 star.”

• Parking in front of rooms (i have a motorcycle).
• On truck route; noisy truck traffic.

“Simple economy. It served my needs. Clean room with a comfortable bed and a shower. That's all I needed. Willing to pay ecomony rate for no frills.”

• Staff seemed bothered by our needs.

“I was very disappointed with my stay. Each day we needed to check in the office to have our hotel card keys reactivated. Took three hours to get an extra pillow. Staff seemed bothered by our request.”

• Quiet and peaceful.
• I locked my key in the room and when I went to the counter for a replacement, I had to pay more money.

“The person was rude about the fact that his employee put in the wrong information and the supervisors exact words were "there is no problem as long as you pay extra" I'd hate to think my skin color played a role in the clerks attitude but it sure appeared that way.”

• There was a stale smoke smell to the room.

• Very easy to get to off main highway 78 considering price, superb hotel, recently remodeled.
• 12 pm checkout time, wish it was based on 24 hour basis, we arrived at 6 pm at night, but all are like this! If we arrive at 6 pm it would be fair to allow.

“I was on a road trip from NYC to Falling Water, Frank Lloyd Wright Home and this location is an ideal half way point that affords one the opportunity to not have to drive the entire distance in one shot and there are nice relaxing things to do in area, Hershey Factory Tour, Dickinson Law School, Bob Evans restaurant very short drive from hotel, 2 minutes by car.”

• Friendly staff, convenient location, excellent price.
• Bathroom baseboards had a very dirty spot, we just made sure to stay away from it.

“Excellent value for money. Convenient location and decent rooms. Comfortable, table, two chairs, refrigerator. There was no microwave in room and we had one last time I stayed here so called office and they brought one over, took a couple hours but I didn't need it immediately so wasn't a problem. The only problem was room could have been cleaner, especially one spot in the bathroom that we had to avoid. Also, I cleaned microwave myself, looked like something tomato based had been over cooked in there. I'd definitely stay here again.”

• It's close to the state capitol.
• It's being renovated and there was a lot of trash in front of the rooms.

“It's a work in progress but it's convenient for someone who needs to be in the capitol for a night stay or a weekend stay.”

• Guy at desk didn't even try to pretend to be helpful, almost seemed annoyed we got such a great deal.

“Rooms could be cleaner but Ive seen worse. Convenient location. Great value for money. Only problem was the guy at the desk didn't even try to pretend to be helpful, in fact he almost seemed annoyed we got such a great deal. Especially after we extended stay from 1 to 2 nights, he said we should not have done that because they were fully booked, however he did find a room for us and there were less cars in the parking lot that "fully booked" night than the previous night. Meanwhile we had to pack up, check out then check back in a few hours later which would not have been so bad if the guy at desk would have pretended to try and be helpful.”

• Staff friendliness.
• Proximity to the road meant I heard the trucks all night. I adapted.

“As a business traveler - responsible for my own expenses, this motel was perfect. The price was right, the staff friendly, and the "upgrades" that were supposedly happening had already been applied to my room. Everything worked! The refrigerator, microwave, etc. Had I just accepted the other reviews which were posted, I would have paid 20 dollars more a night.”
