“The hotel was nothing special and wasn't the cleanest place I've ever seen, that's for sure. It's nice that it was a suite but the whole place is rather dumpy except for the lobby and restaurant area.”

“The hotel is a mile drive to a large Metro rail parking lot and is the last stop on the red line. The staff, although not rude, were not outgoing and welcoming. The room was large with a separate living room and bedroom. There is a microwave, small refrigerator, dishes and utensils. A grocery store is 1/2 mile away, so you could eat microwave TV dinners and the free continental breakfast, saving money on restaurants. Internet about $6/day. Overall pretty nice experience. Good for business travelers who don't want to drive into DC.”

“The rooms in this hotel are all outside, a concern for me as a female traveling alone. The smell of room spray overwhelmed me upon entering, but I got used to it. This appears to be an older building, and the interior could use a thorough professional cleaning/overhaul. No bugs or debris, just felt inclined to keep my shoes on when walking around room. However, the room was spacious, and contained everything I needed for a comfortable stay. No sound from outside or other rooms.”

“My stay at the Wood fin fantastic. Had everything I needed to make my stay very memorable. The kitchen was just like being at home, all I needed was to bring my food and make my meals. The Wood fin is my hotel. Thanks.”

“Poor construction - but clean with helpful and nice staff. But will stay there again. Anyone who wants their political values to trump mine will get my future business.”

“Staff was friendly and helpful. The suite rooms were a nice size. Good hot complimentary breakfast. Decent location to highway and metro. Safe area to walk/run. Room did need to be cleaned a little better before check-in. Fitness center is small.”

“We spent four nights in August at the Rockville Woodfin. The first suite we were assigned had a very noisy a/c and we requested, and speedily got, another room. (We also checked in early.) The hotel is located in a business district which closes down in the evening and on week-ends. It is close to the freeway, but is not noisy. All the facilities, including the grounds, were very clean. The suite is spacious with moderate furniture and two televsion sets. Linen was plentiful, clean, and in excellent condition. Shower had good water pressure. Had a nice kitchen with a full-size coffee pot, paper towels, linen etc.. Elevators were fine. Has a great hot breakfast buffet and afternoon snack with complimentary beer and wine. Staff is very pleasant and helpful although many in housekeeping do not speak English. The floor plan is unfortunate with the bathroom placed at the back of the bedroom. The extra sleeping space provided by a suite is hampered by having to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. On one morning the grounds crew arrived with noisy mowers at 7:30 a.m. We would choose this facility if we found ourselves in the area again. ”
