• Great view, great location for dining and shopping.
• The beds had feather tops that were poking me and were not well fitted to the mattress.

“Hotel was undergoing some construction during our stay. The beds were not the most comfortable. The feather top mattress had quills sticking me a night and were not well fitted to the mattress. The view was great and the location could not be beat for great selection of dining and shopping. Easy access to I-270 and I-370.”

• Conveniently located to shops and highway.
• Room keys kept deactivating.

“Although I called the hotel a week in advance and confirmed a room with two double beds, it was not available upon arrival. The hotel was completely booked due to a soccer tournament and they could not switch my room. They offered a roll away bed and one complimentary breakfast as a consolation.”

• Maid service; Lack of ice machine on floor.

“Was ill and asked the maid to make up my room at 11AM. She returned at 2:10PM and I declined. Checked in on Wednesday and reported that ice machine on 8th floor was not working. Checked out on Monday and still no ice machine.”

• The hotel was recently remodeled. It has a fresh, new feel.
• Other than the little girl’s sleepover (10 and12year olds) that took place on our floor, everything was fine.

“Good for business travelers to the I-270 high technology corridor in the Northern Washington suburbs. Extensive conference facilities and wide ranging of dining options within walking distance in a pleasant lifestyle mall setting.”

• Convenient location for business, driving distance to DC, shopping. Local shopping and restaurants as well.
• Entrance isn't easy to locate.

“Very clean with a friendly and helpful staff. The Marriott Rio location is right in the heart of the business corridor of I-270 and equally accessible to a variety of shopping and entertainment in the Washington, DC suburbs.”

• No seating in the front of building.

“Very nice accommodations. Clean and quiet. Would definitely come back. Loved the TV and in room internet. Would be nice to have a fridge in the room.”

• The view of the lake is fantastic.
• No shuttle service is the only thing needed.

“Very nice hotel in a corporate park setting. Sits on a man-made pond with a lot of decent restaurant choices and a movie theatre. Breakfast menu very limited and expensive. The buffet is also a choice, also expensive ($20) but is also above average in terms of choices. I would certainly stay here again.”

• Location was convenient to walk to restaurants.
• Never had enough towels for family of 4.

“Overall, very nice hotel. Location, surroundings, cleanliness, facilities were all great. Negatives: Didn't like having to pay for internet access. Housekeeping never had enough towels in room for family of four.”

• Excellent location! Luxurious bedding!

“The location was wonderful. Next to theatres, restaurants, & a lake with paddleboats. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast buffet overlooking the lake. The servers were very attentive. The room was exceptional including gorgeous furniture and luxurious bedding. Every detail was attended to including pre-threaded needles in the sewing kit! 1st class all the way!”

• Location, refrigerator and microwave at no additional charge.
• Took two phone calls and a stop at desk to get microwave and refrigerator. A small table and chairs would be nice.

“Perfectly suitable for our purposes. We had called ahead about the microwave/refrigerator and were told it would be in the room. It was not and took 2 phone calls and a stop at the front desk to get them in the room. There is no continental breakfast at this hotel. Location is great for access to I270.”
