• I liked having the microwave and refrigerator in the room.
• I do not think the beds were queen size.

“The room was clean and roomy. However, it was supposed to have two queen beds and they were the smallest queen beds I have ever seen.”

• It was really convenient and priced well.
• There was a faint musty smell in the room (maybe from the AC not being run all day).

“Overall, it was good value for the price. Gettysburg is easy to get around in, so there is no need to be right 'down town' - a nice place for a family or anyone.”

• I liked the free continental breakfast which was more than the usual.
• The water from the faucets smelled and so did one of the rooms we rented.

“We rented two rooms and requested that they be near each other as we had a 16 and 12 year old sons in a separate room. We were on the 2nd floor and another on the first floor. The room on the second floor only had an issue with the water from the faucet, it smelled. The room on the first floor which was nearest to the outdoor pool exit also had the smelly water problem and was near the noise. The only good thing about this hotel was the fact that the free continental breakfast included self-made waffles, along with all of the normal foods.”

• Could have been more info/suggestions on what to do while in Gettysburg.

• Friendly staff and wonderful pool. Continental breakfast a nice plus.
• Maid service was not consistent.

“Days Inn Gettysburg was a very clean, friendly place to spend some time away. This was strictly an R & R vacation. Nice pool, where I spent most of my day and continental breakfast was a nice plus. We would definitely go to this hotel again.”

• Staff was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations and room change.
• Air conditioning was not working necessitating room change; decision to make room change took some pressuring on our part.

“We were very pleased with the room we finally ended up with after discovering our original room's air conditioning was malfunctioning. (We checked in at 11:30 a.m., spent the day sightseeing, only to return to a very warm room at 7:00 p.m.) Staff was very helpful in correcting malfunctioning room card-keys, recommending great local restaurants, etc. We would definitely return - willing to put up with minor annoyances when staff is so friendly and helpful!”

• Clean, quiet, breakfast, sink/mirror outside of bathtub/shower area, nice shower head.

“We were only there for a night's sleep but our experience was pleasant. Comfortable bed and great shower.”

• It is very close to route 15.
• I thought that breakfast was terrible and not healthy.

• Needs updating! Memory foam mattress needed!

“One of three hotels in a cluster, obviously an older hotel that could use some freshening up. If you are booking a last minute trip and need a place to sleep, then its okay. If booking in advance stay at a B&B for the same price. Basically a motel with a mediocre breakfast.”

• The amenities and room quality were on par with hotel of righter star ranking.
• The hotel clerk refused or declined to ask the manager if we could stay an extra night at the same rate.

“This is a great days inn. It was very clean and the sheets and carpet were very new and seemed fresh. The continental breakfast was simple but good. The coffee was adequate. Any traveler would enjoy this hotel.”

• Room was next to the meeting center.

“The hotel staff was wonderful and the room was in excellent condition. The continental breakfast was very crowded but after all it was free. The group using the conference center was very noisy and crowded the hallway which was right outside the room. I overheard the staff trying to corral them but the noise was really loud early in the morning. Access to the hotel is good and there are restaurants right next to the property. Overall it was a good experience but the crowded hall was definitely a down mark.”

“The continental breakfast is first rate. The room was in great condition. There was a group of teenagers on a field trip that filled the hallway and common area on the 1st floor at 10:45 p.m. The teenager¿s voices were clearly heard in my room, in fact, the kids woke me up. It seems they were congregated in the common area and hallway on the 1st floor for cookies and punch - at 10:45 p.m.!”
