• Convenient location to Tyson's Corner area. Liked the presence of a kitchenette.
• Poorly equipped kitchenette. No laundry or business center facilities.

“Staff was very apologetic. Later, mid-morning Saturday, took a long time for the staff to show up at the desk about 20 minutes. The kitchenette was minimally equipped, with one of the two (mismatched) forks having tines that were comically bent out of shape. Overall, however, not a bad hotel.”

• It was nearby where we needed to be that week.
• There is no security at this hotel, door are left open. After a frightening incident the hotel staff responded inappropriately and ineffectively.

“Soon after I left my wife and 2yr old daughter in the hotel room at 7 am, an unidentified man attempted to trick my wife into opening her door further and insisting that he needed to see her face and trying to get the door opened further. My wife figured out he was trying to gain access, because he thought the room had a woman who he had an encounter the night before with and he persisted in trying to gain access to the room after the door was shut. My wife called the front desk only to find out that a few minutely later they forwarded the man's phone call to my wife. They then told me after offering to call the cops five minutes before that I had to. They also gave my wife a hard time because insisted that she must know this stranger as he calling her by name after he overheard that he was using the wrong name. The police told us they have no security cameras. The security door is left open all day so no access key is available and oftentimes no one is at the front desk to see who comes and goes as they sit in the break room watching television or in the back office away from view especially when they are on personal phone calls and check the desk occasionally. It is frightening to think how close my wife and toddler came to being victims by a man. There was no there to help them at the hotel if this man had managed to get the door open before my wife had slammed it shut. There is no excuse however for the hotel then after they found out about the incident to forward this man's call to the room. Also, there is no excuse after the police report was made that the other people manning the front desk at the time did hear of the incident and to be on the lookout for this predator. There is also no excuse that they refused to call 911 when a woman and child were in danger.”

• It was a suite but there was only one room with a lot crowded in.

• No maid services, odd smell to rooms, no complimentary coffee filters.

“Front desk person was friendly but there was no information in the rooms or lobby for guidance to grocery stores or restaurants nothing even about the mall had to ask for directions from the desk person. Beds were not comfortable. I would consider this an economy hotel.”

• There was a kitchen in the room.
• The bed was very uncomfortable and the toilet did not work properly.

“I would not stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone. The bed was uncomfortable and the room smelled. We checked out a day early because I did not want to sleep in the bed again. The toilet did not work properly. We told the front desk staff and he told us to hold down the handle that still did not work.”

• Clean, cool, convenient, friendly, helpful. Close to the metro. Wonderful price!
• No shuttle service.

“This hotel was centrally located, easy to reach and very convenient. It had everything we needed and their helpful staff provided information on all of our questions.”

“Hard to see from road. Drove past it once before locating it. Clean and relatively well run. Charges $10 extra for a rollaway bed and $20 extra for a room with two beds. ”

“I was excited about the location and was looking forward to being in a location close to where I needed to be. Upon checking in, however, I ran into some problems. For starters, the room had not been cleaned very well. While the bed was made, it was clear that the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest--quite disgusting. Also, the trash cans had not been emptied from the previous guest. The white shower curtain in the bathroom was crawling with mold. The refrigerator still had items in it from the previous guest. The solitary staff member on duty merely provided me with a clean set of sheets to change my own bed. I took the trash out myself. While I was happy about the location, the actual quality of the room was very `poor.”

“Hotel had easy access to local hot spots and work. It needs a good cleaning up of the mold in the air instead of using perfumed spray which I detected for the entire time I lodged. The beds need to be more comfortable. Overall quality for money was reasonable.”

• Great location, friendly staff.
• Poor internet connection.

“The hotel is great for its location and friendly staff. What needs to improve is the internet connection provided by gusted services. Automatic, every 24-hour connection does not work so you have to call to have a technician manually log you in. Could have a bit more comfortable pillows.”

• Kitchen is a plus for someone on an extended business trip. Location excellent as well.
• Constant problems with wireless Internet connection.

“This hotel is fine in all other aspects except for their wireless Internet connection. I had to be logged on manually by Guest-tech services every night. That meant spending an hour or more on average waiting to be connected, either on hold waiting for the next available technician or waiting for them to remotely log me on after leaving a detailed message on the Guest-tech voice mail.”

• It had a non smoking room.
• I had to pay extra for 2 beds it was a crappy place.

“If you are looking for an apartment and not a Hotel this is the place for you. There is no maid service, there is no one at the front desk after about 11 and it was just gross. A woman knocked on my door at 2am - and it was not housekeeping. We had 3 travelers with 2 rooms reserved. I had to pay 20 extra per night for 2 beds in the one room - it really was an overall bad experience.”

• Location was convenient to working location.
• Hotel and room could not accommodate two male travelers, staff not very helpful.

“This room was reserved to house two male travelers on assignment in the Tyson's area. The hotel was a "suite" hotel but did not have a fold out couch and offered a roll away bed. The bed arrived with dirty sheets. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and resulted in one of the male travelers buying an inflatable mattress and sleeping on the floor. ”

• I really liked the room, and the bed was comfortable.
• The room didn't appear to have been cleaned. There was a cigarette wrapper on the floor, and there was hair in the shower.

“I have stayed at this hotel before, and I have always had a really good experience. I was pleased to see that they seemed to have redecorated the room I was in, but it wasn't pleasant to find that the shower had obviously not been cleaned. Since it was so late when I arrived, I didn't bother complaining, but I was really surprised. I try to stay at this hotel because I have always found it to be clean and pleasant. I'm hoping this was an exception. I plan to give this hotel another try on my next trip through Buffalo.”
