  • Met our expectations for a home base while visiting family.
  • No elevator to the second floor.

“A good basic motel for people using it as a home base-a very good continental breakfast but good restaurants not conveniently located nearby.”

  • Relatively cheap, but overall not a good value.
  • Poor Service.

“The 1 Queen bed room was a little small, but sufficient for 2 people. It wasn't as clean as clean could be, but close. Our 'non-smoking' room clearly smelled of smoke, so we asked to be switched. The next one was thankfully smoke-free. However, Clayton must be completely incompetent at the front desk. We had been in the area for a funeral and left our phone charger in the room. We realized this about an hour outside of town, so we couldn't turn around. We called the front desk and gave Clayton our Fed Ex account number, address, and other details. He found the phone charger and said he would get it out. Someone else from the front desk called about our zip code, inquiring if it was "Q8314." No, its 28314. Q? Unbelievable. So the charger didn't show up this afternoon at the apartment. I called the hotel, and after some asking around, found out the phone charger had not only been sent out, but hadn't even been boxed up. So it's 6:30 pm on a Friday. Hopefully they can send it out via Saturday delivery, otherwise, we won't get our phone charger until Tuesday morning and both our phones will have been long dead.”

  • Efficient staff.

“My room was dirty with stains on the walls and ceiling. The carpeting was torn, uneven and "rippled". I would not walk around in bare feet. It seems old and not well taken care of. I was glad to leave in the morning.”

  • Friendly staff, clean rooms.
  • This hotel did not have an elevator and our room was on the 2nd floor.

“This hotel is conveniently located. Would not recommend this hotel if you have a lot of bags. The free breakfast is good, but the dining hall is small and the tables are very close together. The staff exceeds expectations. They are very friendly.”

“This is only good if you must travel here and you have limited funds. We, in the US, are really letting our standards become "third world". Too bad we must have to accept this or not travel.”

  • Wonderful bedding- great breakfast.
  • No elevator but its only 2 floors.

“The hotel's new upgrade is very good. The bedding is very fresh and comfortable. Staff did not hesitate to help out when I needed directions. I will be back next year. Rate is very good compared to other hotels for same service. So much improvement.”

  • Horrible nothing good to say.
  • Dirty, smells, poor staffing, room not made-up or cleaned.

“The room was stinky, beat-up, and dirty. The room was not made up the second night that we stayed. (Found out from one of the staff that the housekeepers put do-not disturb signs on the rooms themselves so that they don't have to clean). Numerous people had the same experience that night. If you had a category called DUMP- that would be my rating.”

  • The hotel had a swimming pool.
  • Assigned smoking room (I don't smoke), no elevator, poor conditions.

“Since the hotel was full, they couldn't give me another room. The room stunk of old stale cigarettes. The drapes were coming off the rod. The paint was old. The bathroom was not clean, hair on the floor, a dirty washcloth had been left on the tub. The carpet had crumbs on it as if it had not been vacuumed. The second room I was given (Sunday- 1 night), also smoking, but was able to change it to non-smoking, smelled like mildew. An electric air freshener had been placed in the room to deal with the smell - it didn't work very well, still musty. Remote control was broken and only worked intermittently.”
