• The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was always greeted with a smile by all.
• It was a wonderful experience, nothing bad to say.

“I was surprised at the level of customer service. All employees greeted me and smiled and said hello. The front house manager did a wonderful job.”

“This hotel is a very convenient location, easy off and on the highway, close to many shops and restaurants. The rooms are clean. The beds and bedding are extremely comfortable.”

• Large rooms.
• Bed was uneven and probably near the end of its life.

“This hotel is an upscale Marriott, located on the grounds of a large shopping center. It is clean and safe. The restaurant is expensive. The pool and whirlpool were clean and had full time life guards.”

• The lobby level was beautiful and the people always greeted us.
• Parking spaces are only 6' wide hard to get in and out of vehicle when lot was busy.

“Clean, beautiful hotel with a friendly, helpful staff who are very knowledgeable of the area for directions, attractions and how to best get in and out of DC.”

• We loved the location near the Metro (3 miles) and an upscale mall.
• No shuttle to Metro, no refrigerator in room, moderate highway noise.

“The Fairfax Marriott was just what we needed. Close to the Metro to get into DC as a family, upscale mall nearby for food in the evening, a clean and appealing atmosphere. Staff was friendly and available. The same accommodations in DC had a much higher price tag + parking!”

• Room was nice and very comfortable.
• Location was hard to find, not well marked, road construction was hazardous.

“Might have been nice to know that there were 3 high school bands staying there which made access to the pool area impossible due to the number of teens in it, when traveling that is a key area for us.”

• Convenient to shopping, restaurants and Metro.
• Outlet in bathroom did to work. Noisy in lobby area which travel up through balcony.

“Overall it was a good value. Our room had a balcony over the lobby, people were up late and the noise carried up to our room. If I stayed here again I would request a room on the other side.”

“Very convenient location and excellent value for money. The room was very comfortable and clean. Wide variety of eating places nearby but food in the hotel very expensive - breakfast was $14.95.”

• Great staff. Very attentive to any thing you may have needed.
• No alarm clock in room. Kids running up and down halls at night.

“Overall the staff was friendly and first rate. The rooms were nice, bed was great and spotless. The location is next to a mall so if you check in late your only option for dinner was the hotel restaurant. The food was good but way over priced.”

• It was very noisy due to a party I think in the ground floor. The location of the room might have been better.
