• This hotel actually exceeded my expectations.
• This hotel did not provide a place to socialize after hours.

“Overall, I found this hotel to be excellent for my purposes. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling while on business or leisure. I do plan on staying there again on my next trip to Richmond.”

• Quite comfortable, updated rooms.
• Parking across the street, but had valet service.

• High class hotel.
• Parking was incontinent. Had to valet but it wasn't always available.

• I loved the room & the suites. The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly.
• The water took a while to get hot.

“My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The valet parking for Richmond is very reasonable and the location was great! I would definitely stay there again, especially for the price.”

• The rooms were very nice.
• We stayed 2 nights and the did not clean the room the 1st night just made beds.

“I would stay at the hotel again. The room was very nice. The staff was slow but friendly. The elevators were slow and very small. I would rate the stay and 8.”

• location was excellent, staff very helpful and courteous

“located across from the Capitol and square and easy walking distance to the "slip" where there were many restaurants. Keep in mind that there are renovations being done to the capitol which will not be completed until 2007. Plenty of free on street parking on weekends.”

• It was spacious. The bed was beautiful.
• Since our car broke down, we regret only staying there one night.

“I prefer this hotel, to any of the Marriott Hotels or suites, my wife has purchased.The rooms were very comfortable. The rooms were very spacious. The color and fabrics used to decorate the rooms make that warm and inviting.”

• The front desk and breakfast room staff were helpful
• Room & bathroom were dark, could be cleaner and better kept. Valet parking not efficiently run, tiny elevators

“I was disappointed in this hotel. Although the staff was friendly enough, the room could have been cleaner and better kept. The room had only one good reading lamp and the bathroom was downright dark. Valet parking service left a lot to be desired, even though we were in a que, people who tipped first got their car before we did upon departure. Tiny elevators would send a claustrophobic into a near panic. The area was convenient but rolls up the sidewalks at night and on weekends.”
