“For a Holiday Inn, the hotel was below what I expected. Maybe Holiday Inn is just no longer a good, reliable place to stay. The customer service and general condition of the room was not as Holiday Inn has been in the past.”

  • The area was undesirable.
  • Everything, the room smelled like mildew and I ended up with an slight infection.

“I think that you guys should take this hotel off of your board period. It is not a two star it is a one star and it is set up like an motel six or worse. I was very disappointed with my stay. I hated this place with a passion.”

  • Very dirty, especially room; manager argued with us over moving to a cleaner room; facility was rundown; no towels at pool; nonsmoking room smoky.

“This hotel was a drastic disappointment. A Howard Johnson motel would have been an improvement. Our bathroom was moldy, food and other garbage was under the bed, the carpet was frayed and there was no outlet for the lamp. The room had no refrigerator. When these problems were reported, the manager refused to move us or provide a refrigerator until my husband argued with him over 2 hours of back-and-forth phone calls. The refrigerator we received was dirty with crusted food and the drawers had garbage in them. The facility was actually an old motor lodge with new paint. The pool needed to be cleaned and, despite their signs, there were no towels at the pool.”

  • I liked that I drove away and found a much nicer hotel that met my needs and expectations.
  • Everything. Roaches, mold, dirt, dust, horrible.

“We did not stay at this hotel because based on our visual observations of this roach motel, we chose to find a more suitable hotel for our needs.”

  • The best area of the hotel was the bathroom which seemed that it might have been remodeled recently.
  • The hotel does not have an elevator, it was a hassle to walk upstairs with a toddler, luggage, and a playback where my daughter slept.

“It's a pity because in general the hotel seemed to have had better days. The rooms have a good size, but the furniture is in a really bad shape. I wouldn't have minded that much if I didn't have to add up the filthy areas in the room, around the bed and on the sofa-bed sheets, the old cigarette smell, and the overall deterioration of the hotel common areas. The hotel is also short of staff.”

  • Convenient to I-95. Good diner next door.
  • Didn't reuse towels as requested.

“The Holiday Inn North is undergoing renovations in the lobby. This is an older property in a location convenient to I-95 and to some employers but not convenient to much retail.”

  • Convenient to I-95.
  • It was a dump. Holiday Inn should be ashamed.

“From a chirping smoke detector that was removed from the room rather than replace the battery, to a toilet whose flush button sticks every time you flush, to a sliding glass door too warped to fully close, to furniture with huge stains, to moldy shower curtains, this was one of the dirtiest rooms I have ever stayed in. Let alone from a Holiday Inn. I stayed at this same place a few years ago and it was just fine. Never will stay there again.”

  • The elevators were not convenient to the entrance.

“Overall, the experience was very good. The hotel lobby was being renovated. It might have been nice to have signs indicating where the rooms were or to have been given a map of the hotel at check-in as there were multiple buildings. The room was very clean and quiet. I would stay there again if in town.”

“Was not represented well. Was described as a lovely hotel with a pool. It was a 2.5 star hotel. The wallpaper was falling off the walls, the tub was dirty and stained. There were stains on the sheets of the bed. Smelled of smoke throughout hotel. Employees were observed smoking in the lobby when the sign stated non-smoking. Would never stay at this hotel again.”

“The TV did not work. I was told when I checked in that someone would be up to fix it. They never showed. When I went to check out, I was offered a coupon for breakfast. It was useless since I had already eaten.”
