• The breakfast was awesome!

“The breakfast was over the top! If we had to go out to eat, it would have cost us $50 to get that kind of food for 5 people.”

• Location was good.
• Bed bugs in bed.

“The facilities and appearance of this hotel was very nice. The rooms were average and clean, only problem was, that we had bed bugs or possibly fleas in our bed.”

• The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. Decor was fresh and bright.
• It was a bit hard to find the driveway entrance to this hotel. Not well marked and out of the way.

“I would definitely stay in this hotel again and also tell friends about it. Very clean, comfy and an excellent price for the facility.”

• Light switches in bathroom are weird/in awkward places.

“This hotel had a very nice and friendly staff and was a most pleasant place to stay while touring DC. They had a shuttle to the airport for the metro and to downtown Alexandria. It was a very pleasant experience.”

• Comfortable beds and nice rooms.
• The pillows for the beds were awful.

“The hotel is being remodeled but the accommodations were still very nice. If in the area we will stay there again.”

• Even though renovations was going on it was very clean and the location was great for restaurants and nearby sight seeing.
• Each hotel room need a refrigerator and microwave.

• Convenient location, clean, friendly staff, great breakfast.
• Under construction and a little noisy at present. No pool or exercise facilities.

“When the construction is complete this hotel will be even more wonderful. I would recommend it to friends and family.”

• The furniture and rooms were all old and needed to be replaced.

“This hotel is unlike any other Marriott that I have been to. Even for a Fairfield. I was surprised by the cracks in the doors, chipped paint, musty smells, uncomfortable beds, and overall old appearance. This hotel would be great with some renovations.”

• The receptionist was very helpful. The room was pleasant.
• A covered driveway would have been helpful since it was raining.

• Clean, comfortable room. Convenient location. Quick and easy check-in.
• Small bathroom facilities.

“Conveniently located just off exit 126A of Rt 95. Excellent location for north-south travelers on 95. Hotel is within walking distance of about 5 or 6 restaurants and within one mile of about another 20-30 restaurants. Clean room with wireless internet service, facilities. Good, quick complementary breakfast. Excellent value.”

• I loved the comfort of the room, and the location of the pool.

“Outstanding stay! Where in the world can you get to stay at a Fairfield Inn my Marriott for such an inexpensive rate? Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, amenities were superb, and room and public areas were immaculate. Breakfast was outstanding!”

• Elevator out of service for repair during check out, could of waited till noon.

• The continental breakfast was well presented. Food fresh, staff was nice.
• Hotel under construction and very dusty. Plastic runners on floor dirty. Bad smell.

“I would not recommend this hotel in its' present condition. Perhaps once renovations are finished it will be more enjoyable. Rooms were not fresh smelling. Hallways dusty and unsightly.”
