• Guests next to us were partying until after midnight.

“It took three phone calls to the desk to get some quiet at 12:30 - doors slamming, yelling,
partying in two or three rooms.”

• Well appointed rooms, in-room refrigerator, fitness center, free parking.
• Doesn't offer a free breakfast.

“ We received an excellent rate from Priceline and entered this hotel with eyes open, after seeing some of the reviews. Our room, containing one king bed, a coffee maker and Starbucks coffee, and a small, dorm-sized refrigerator/freezer, was steps off of the main lobby on the first floor. It was well appointed and surprisingly quiet. The fitness center has treadmills, stair stepping machines and weights. Wireless access is not available in rooms, but a very small business center has computers with free internet access. No free breakfasts are offered, but a Denny's is located across the street. Additionally, a microwave is available in a small room off of the lobby for guest use. The Richmond Sheraton West's location was an easy drive - less than 10 miles - from the downtown cultural attractions in which we were interested. And, although it is pet-friendly, we were not bothered by the dogs we saw nor did our room give evidence of ever having housed pets. ”

• Comfortable beds and pillows, nice set up of room.
• Clean room, but to increase star level needs refreshing.

“Room was very nice and had a half wall between the hall door and the bedroom which helped with noise from the hall. Beds and pillows, linen and comforter were very good and comfortable. At check in, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was that the hotel boiler broke down and we had no hot water to take a shower. They did get it fixed, but not until 10:00 am.”

• The space of the room was great. i loved the king sized bed and space.
• Maybe a micro-fridge and microwave would have been nice.

• The spacious room was a refreshing change from the cramped closets we're used to.
• There was no fridge or microwave in the room!

“Overall, I really liked the Sheraton. It's clean, quiet and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. However, I think this day in age it is standard to have a little fridge and a microwave in the room, so step up Sheraton! Not to mention, $10/day for internet access is ridiculous.”

• The price was right. I guess I got what I paid for.
• We were given 2 roll away beds and put in a hospitality suite. They didn't have a regular room.

“It advertises all this wonderful stuff about their beds only we didn't get to try them. I don't think this would have happened if it had not been a discounted room. I think we were treated like discounted people, no compensations at all were offered.”

• Convenient, close to everything. Rooms not connected to main entrance.
• The room had a shower and no tub.

“This was a one night get away. The room suited my needs I would have preferred a tub. Only had shower. I do not like the fact that the rooms are separate from main lobby of hotel. You have to leave main lobby get back in car to get to rooms.”

• Great guest services, very friendly and gave us good directions.
• Indoor pool was small and
  no chairs around the pool.

• Clean, friendly, and very accommodating.
• Long halls a bit dark.

“I would recommend this hotel, has a nice outside courtyard surrounding a small but adequate pool, nice landscaping, shade and sun, loungers and chairs/tables. Internet access via 2 computers in the business center which we much appreciated. Has a small work-out gym. Small refrigerator in each room. We enjoyed our stay.”

• I like to location and that it was a Sheraton property. Room was adequate if things worked.
• Old, run down, major problems with toilet, faucet, ice, and that was out second room.

“Pool was dirty. 8 Year old said, it's not very clear. Not only that, there was algae behind the steps to get in. And we could not get in due to traffic blockage for fireworks!”

• Wonderful friendly staff, shuttle that takes you around 5 minutes, location, Starbucks.
• Internet was 10 dollars a day if you wanted it. But, you can use their office in the lobby for free internet.

“The hotel is older, but clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally nice and eager to make our stay comfortable. They even called the room to see if everything was acceptable. The food in the dining room was good, we had the breakfast buffet. They had Starbucks coffee and the fruit was fresh.”
