  • The bed was a king. And it was very nice. I sleep like a baby.
  • The bathroom was ok. It was so bad Im still itching from all nasty.

  • Convenient location.
  • There was a roach on the wall/hair on the lid of the toilet.

“Ok if saving money is your major concern. The room was rough around the edges. I did see a roach in the room and the lid to the toilet had 2 long hairs on it.”

  • There was a roof over our head while it was raining outside.
  • This hotel is disgusting.

“This hotel was a complete nightmare. The staff was not attentive. The room was disgusting. The bathroom had mold and mildew all over the ceiling. We had no pillowcases for the beds and when we complained to the front desk, nothing was done. Even though we had a cheap rate, it was not worth it to stay at this hotel. Needless to say, I would not recommend this place to anyone.”

  • Staff ended personal phone call to accept my registration.
  • Poor location for my needs in Richmond.

“Called "executive center" it seemed more of a "lovers tryst." loud music heard in the hallway from various rooms, inconvenient entryway with 3 steps up and barely enough room to set baggage down to open the door. Decor in the room was attractive and bathroom was clean.”

  • Front desk clerk did her best under circumstances.
  • First room assigned had no electricity; second room not secure.

“Room was clean and linens were fresh. Breakfast included make your own waffles. General maintenance and public areas suffered from neglect. Downtown Richmond in 10 minutes by car.”

  • Quiet, inexpensive hotel in a convenient location.
  • Heater is not very easy to adjust.

“The comfort inn executive center in Richmond, van is no landau, but it's located close to the interstate, right next to an olive garden and a waffle house. The first night I was there, I settled in, strolled next door and had a nice risotto. The next morning, I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast--much more than just coffee and doughnuts, it included fruit, cereal, waffles (!) And more, including a free newspaper. The staff was very kind and helpful; parking is a snap. The only things that marred my stay were: a temperamental heater (either on full-bore or barely at all), a broken ice machine, and a faulty key card (promptly and cheerfully replaced). I would say this was worth the low price I requested--I didn't expect to find anything at all for. Thanks,”

  • Dirty and outdated.

“I will never stay in a two-star hotel again if this is what it's like. There were bugs in my bed! Needless to say, I slept very little and this was only after moving to another room at 2 a.m. The window did not work (would not open) and there wasn't even an elevator in the building. What a disgrace.”

  • 3 buildings, only 2 floors with good security and no pets.
  • Rooms and corridors were still being cleaned at 6pm.

“Convenient location close to I-64 and I-95. Rooms were clean with free wireless broadband Internet access available throughout the hotel. Some carpets needed replacing but considering the high volume of guests most of the hotel was in reasonable condition. Parking was good and breakfast was ok considering it was free.”

  • Charged for safe that did not work. Mold all over tile in bath. Ice machine was broke during our 3 day stay.

“This is not a place I would stay in again. Room was to have a roll away bed provided. When I called the front desk to inquire about bed, a nasty clerk informed me that there would now be a $10.00 charge for this bed per night. That they did not "give" beds away for free. When I explained that I had the persons name that I booked with along with my price and conformation number, she told me that if I agreed to the charge a bed would be brought over if not my king size bed was all we would have. I love my sister and niece a lot, but for the three of us to share 1 bed was a bit much. We finally felt pressured into paying the fee, which she did reduce for us to $5.00 per night. The bed came after about 45 min. wait. Only a fitted sheet was provided. We never did get a blanket or pillow. Our bath tub was full of mold on the tile. Floor was not cleaned. I tried to use the in room safe. It did not work at all. In fact the #2 button would not even push in. We were still charged $1.00 a day for this broken safe. Coffee was only provided for our 1st night stay. After that we did not receive refills or even cups for water. We had to ask for 3 sets of towels each day. Even after they brought us the roll away bed, they didn't comprehend that there were more than 2 people in the room. Dining room for breakfast is really to small. The girl at front desk said that all but 6 rooms were rented for the weekend. The dining room might hold 20 people. Only 1 waffle maker to use. We ate there the first day, but it was quicker to go 2 doors down to the waffle house and buy breakfast. This place could not have been remodeled 3 years ago.
