• There was a little bottle of dish washing liquid in the room.
• There wasn't enough light to read.

“Hotel
wasn't scary, which I had expected when driving by last summer and seeing the hangers out in the parking lot. And it was clean. But even though I bought a 100 watt bulb, I still couldn't see to read in the chair because of not being able to get to the overhead light. Very depressing and I'm just thankful we didn't have a snow day while I was there.”

• I liked the mini kitchen.
• I did not like having to go to the first floor for ice.

“The room was clean and reasonably attractive. I did not like the lack of convenience in loading/unloading and getting facilities like ice.”

• Good, clean, quiet, friendly, efficient, simple hotel.
• No ice machine on 2nd floor.

• Absolutely nothing.
• The staff was not available at all during the night. Therefore, it was unsafe.

“No one answered the phone to give me directions for over three hours in the middle of the night, they never did answer let alone be present to check me in. I ended up staying at a different hotel. Clearly, I am disappointed and angry.”

• It was near several restaurants and conveniences.
• Strange smell, extended stay feel.

“Because of the strange smell and vibe we didn't actually stay the night. However, the front desk guy was friendly and all seemed clean in spite of the odd smell. This place was definitely for the traveler on an economy budget with few other choices. The longer term residents sitting out front just made the place seem undesirable.”

• The price was low.
• The most limited amenities I have ever seen.

“The staff was unhelpful and not friendly. They refused my request of one additional pillow. Had I been staying more than one night, I would have been very disappointed. Towels are only replaced ONCE per week, and there is a $1 charge if you want to exchange them one extra time, which is all you're allowed. I would recommend other budget chains, like Motel 6 or Econolodge over this one every time.”

• Location was good, with high quanitity of restaurants in area.
• The ants, the odor, the overly soft bed.

“The location of the hotel was good with a great selection of restaurants to choose from in the area. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor at best. The bathroom was dirty with hair and filth left on the toilet from the previous person. The ants that were also occupying my room were not welcome. I was not happy with this hotel.”

• the bathroom door didnt shut the refregirator didnt work

• fairly clean
• was difficult to find, no amenities to speak of, staff not particularly helpful

“I would not stay here again if I could avoid it. The location was difficult to find (street sign behind a building caused us to pass it twice!). We requested a couple of extra pillows, but none were available. No breakfast was available, as at most motels. The motel was cheap, but sub par.""”

• It was close to the conferance I was attending
• Smelled like smoke, hard beds, no maid service, small window

“I would not want to stay at a Suburban Extended stay hotel again. The room was very small, the bed was very uncomfortable, there was no maid service. I do not think it was a good value even at good prices. This hotel is a poor hotel even for one star rating.”
