• The room was essentially a suite with a full kitchen.
• I have no complaints.

• There was a fire drill, the alarm went off, but no one knocked on doors to make certain all customers got out of their rooms.

“My experience was unfavorable. I hope to never use that establishment again.”

• Very clean, room had full kitchen.
• A little out of the way for my destination. WiFi extra.

“Check in was fast. There was no business center, but the clerk let me use her personal laptop for a couple of minutes! WiFi is extra. The room was a suite- huge. I had a full kitchen, so I went to a nearby Kroger and made myself a nice, affordable dinner. The room was clean and comfortable.”

• The price was excellent.
• Slight odor in lobby & room. False fire alarm at 8 am was very shocking & inconvenient.

“I really enjoyed the 2nd day stay. All was well until the false fire alarm at 8:00 am caused an evacuation in pajamas. Oh it was a sight to behold! But very glad that there was not a fire.”

• The room smelled, the bed was uncomfortable, the sink was broken.

“This hotel was horrible. I stayed at a Hyatt Place a few nights before and it was wonderful. This hotel room smelled when we walked in, for over 85 degrees because the AC had been turned off. The sink wasn't working properly. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I was appalled by the room in fact and almost left when I walked in.”

“I wouldn't recommend staying here, I requested a non smoking room but they put us in a smoking room. This greatly affected my allergies. The staff sprayed a chemical to make it smell better, but it didn't help all that much. The dishes in the kitchen and all counters were dirty, and they only provided free soap (no shampoo, etc). The only redeeming factor was this was located in a nicer area of Richmond.”

• Very quiet and easy access to shopping.
• Mattress on the pull bed should have been cleaned many nasty spots.

“My only concern was that the mattress was not fit to sleep on and should be cleaned or dumped otherwise everything else was good. (Pull out bed.)”

• Appearance, location, atmosphere, internet.
• No problems @ all!

“The receptionist was nice! The visitors were great! It felt like I was on vacation even though I live nearby! I was refreshed and I relieved my stress in the peaceful room by myself. Everything was great and the staff was awesome! I love the TV's and accommodations in the room! I didn't have to bug the operator for everything!”

• Layout, comfort of beds, pillows, full kitchen.
• Just that it was stuck in a parking lot behind a furniture store, but was fine.

“I was surprised that it would be so nice. The Marriott Towne Place Suites was not half as nice and is a lot more expensive. The layout and comfort of the room was quite nice and the fact that it is animal friendly, nonsmoking room. Only thing I did notice was a screen was broken off and had I wanted to open window, I would not have been able to.”

“Nice location. Room was clean, but it doesn't appear to be family friendly. Bathroom decor was outdated, and shady looking. Nothing fancy, don't expect much, and you will not be let down. Will get the job done.”

• The halls were not carpeted so it was loud.

• Everyone was great to me and the hotel was very clean.
• The location of the hotel was not the greatest.

“The employees were great, the hotel was very clean. The location was not the greatest, because you have to drive every were and I am used to taking public transportation 24/7.”

• For the price, we thoroughly enjoyed the location and expanse of the room.
• Nothing stands out as unlikable.

“For a quiet respite home away from home, this hotel is conveniently located, safe, well-lit (halls and parking lot), and supplied with very amenities. As out-of-towners with next day earl appointments, it served our needs more than adequately. We will be staying again in the very near future, and have recommended it to our friends.”

• Only one chair in the room. Trash overflow during weekend.

• Very simple, clean studio. Gives you all you need for an overnight or extended stay.
• The smoking floor was poorly ventilated. Cigarettes stink, but even more so with bad ventilation.

“This was perfect for my visit to my parents in the west end. The staff was very friendly and courteous, and had no problem addressing my request for a smoking room. The room itself was very comfortable, with a microwave, stove, coffeepot, etc. Simple, but more than I would have expected for the price. I'll definitely stay there again on my next visit!”
