• It was awful..the bathroom was not up to code! The bed linens smell of cigarette smoke!

“I did not like this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially for a 3nite stay! No continental breakfast! No daily housekeeping! The bathroom (227) was not up to code. The shower rode was rusty and a bit nasty looking the towel rack above the toilet was bent and broken..could not hold the towels. I did not know until later that you have to book 7 days in order to get houskeeping. Rude housekeeper! I had asked her a simple question about housekeeping she got offended. Need fabric softner or something to kill the smell of smoke in the sheets and the room. You would think your in smoking area.Please do not put this on my list of choices of hotels..I don't care about the level of stars...”

• Only smoking rooms left.

“Would have been OK except when checking in they only had smoking rooms and the room and hallway reeked of smoke. I probably should have checked with the hotel but didn't think it was necessary since I chose non-smoking when I purchased the room.”

• I liked the counter space, I had to do some work and it was nice to use.
• Everything was a little off putting. Small TV, rough towels, sheets, toilet paper. Hard bed.

“When I arrived at the hotel, I had to change rooms immediately. The room they gave me had dirty dishes in the sink. While they were nice and apologetic that pretty much set the tone for the place. No attention to detail.”

• Well located, near everything we needed.
• There was no stove in the kitchen and not enough pots & pans.

“The hotel was near the highway and easy to find. Also located in a shopping center, and also near other stores. It is neat the 2 universities & one college of Rochester.”

• There is a refrigerator and kitchenette available.
• There was no hair dryer!

“The hotel is kind of hidden in the far back of a shopping plaza. The key was difficult to work - it was a weird plastic key with holes in it, vs. a magnetic strip. The room was adequate, but there was no hair dryer, which meant I couldn't wash my hair the next morning. The heat was strong, which was nice. The televison channel selection was minimal. Overall, this is for a very economic business traveler.”

• The room was spacious.
• The room smelled like old take-out food and the toilet broke.

“The hotel was an excellent price. It was a little hard to find (you have to go through a shopping center to find it). The staff was very friendly and addressed any problems I had quickly. The dishes in the room were not good.”

• The beds were the most uncomfortable that I have ever used.

• The sheets hadn't been changed.

“As it was late when we turned in and all our things were unpacked for the night, we didn't call the desk. They weren't soiled looking and I'm not sure if the hairs were from a dog or a human's head that I saw on the sheets.”

• Full kitchen facility.
• Mattress as hard as floor-not a comfortable sleep.

“Hotel facility was adequate. Problem was that the mattress was like sleeping on the floor. This caused us not to want to stay at this brand or it's subsidiaries again.”

• Clean comfortable room.
• Air conditioner and refrigerator were noisy and kept us up due to then constantly turning on and off.

• The desk people were very nice.
• The bathrooms were not as clean as I like.

“Hotel was okay. The desk staff were very helpful. I don't think the cleaning staff did a very good job of cleaning. The showers had hair in them and above the fridge were cob webs. The hall smelled like bad cooking, but in extended stay hotels the halls always smell.”

• The front desk service was excellent.
• Even for a one star hotel, it should have had some shampoo - also the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly as there were some crumbs with ants all over them.

“For a one star hotel - this was very good. Notes for improvements include clearer identification of the hotel from the main road.”

• Fairly inexpensive-really liked that it has a kitchen.
• Staff shortage- when I went to check out there was a sign that said be back later, so I just left my key at the desk.

“Not bad, I liked that the hotel was pet-friendly and that is has a kitchen. A kitchen is nice for longer stays as eating out gets old and is expensive and there is a grocery store almost right across the street. But if you like to eat out, there are many restaurants within five minutes of the hotel.”
