• I liked the large comfortable bed, also that the cribs were actual cribs and not pack-n-plays.
• The room smelled faintly of body odor and the restaurant was not the best.

“Overall the hotel was very nice. The room was large enough for two cribs. The room did smell slightly of body odor. The bathroom was clean. The fridge and microwave were nice to have in the room. The air conditioner did not work very well and I woke up in the middle of the night sweating. The restaurant in the hotel was easy to get a seat at but the service was slow and the food was marginal. The hotel was very easy to find and was right off the interstate. I felt very safe in the area (a single parent traveling with two small children). The staff were eager to help me with my bags and actually took my bags to my room for me. And when I checked out I called the front desk and they sent somebody up to get my bags and bring it to the front. Everybody was very nice.”

• Clean, easy to find, comfortable, relaxing.
• Absolutely nothing.

“The hotel was so easy to find since it is right on one of the main roads. When we went in, the room was clean, everything was well stocked and it was comfortable to sit around in. The people at the front desk were really nice and answered all my questions on the phone and in person when we arrived.”

• Very clean.
• Very noisy in the morning. Cleaning staff were loud.

• It was exciting to be in on the grand opening and know that everything was new, fresh and clean.

• Staff was exceedingly helpful and courteous, facility was brand new.
• I felt like room was a bit smaller than expected and pool a bit chilly.

“Would have liked additional seating for spouse; when I mentioned it to the staff they immediately arrived with a chair. Refrigerators were so new, no one noticed the adjustment was set on max until some soda cans exploded. The night desk staff arrived almost immediately and cleaned it up in a good natured manner. I would definitely recommend the hotel to family & friends.”

• the location was excellent in surroundings in example, food, shopping, and easy access to the thruways.
• no ice machine on the second floor

• The room was filthy. The corridors were dirty and smelled horrible.

“I have never stayed in a chain hotel that was this disgusting. We had our 11 month old baby with us and we couldn't let him crawl on the floor because the carpet was dirty and was pulling away from the tack strip exposing nails. The corridors were just as bad. This hotel needs new management and a renovation.”

“Would not recommend. False alarm at 3am forced evacuation. Door to exercise room would not open and was not fixed in the three days we were there.”

• Hotel was located conveniently to downtown Rochester.
• Bathroom was filthy.

“The backdoor to the hotel wasn't locked at all, looked like someone broke into the building at one time. The bathroom was dirty. The TV wasn't equipped for check out. The breakfast selection was refreshed in a timely manner. The hotel facilities were outdated, not modern at all.”

• it was close to the highway
• Internet access was dial up at $.25/minute or wireless in the lobby

“The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The rooms were small and the walls were a weird stone like stucco. It was very dark in the hallways as well and that made me a little uncomfortable. The hotel's only internet access was in the lobby if you had a wireless network card or dial up at regular phone charges. This was very disappointing. Overall it did the job, it was a place to sleep.”

• Bathroom needed to be remodeled.

“Happy to note that a continental breakfast was added since our last stay. The room was clean, but I think it is time to remodel the bathrooms. The area around the tub was peeling and did not look pleasing. I would stay here again though.”

• Staff was friendly.
• I needed my heater vent cleaned, but no maintenance people for 4 days. Very dirty - I got sick.

“These people need to do more intense cleaning in areas that can't be seen. My heater vent was black with tons of dirt. I got there on Saturday. No maintenance until Wednesday. I ended up cleaning it myself.”

“The Ramada Inn Rochester was placed in the area in which I needed to stay. It was convenient to fast foods, chain resturants and shopping areas. The staff was professional and helpful with local area information. I would stay in this hotel for my future trips to the area.”
