• Breakfast buffet.
• Beds were soft and no stove in the kitchen.

“ Residence in 2 miles from Penn State campus. Everyone there was very nice. My adult son and I were there to run a Half Marathon and they let us checkout late to accommodate us. I was surprised there was not an oven or a toaster in the kitchen of the room. ”

• There is a free Happy House Tuesday - Thursday from 6pm-8pm.

“Everything was great about the hotel - the price was fantastic, the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, there is a free pool table, and free pool.”

• Room size.

“This hotel was overall very nice and convenient to everything within the State College limits. If I had anything negative to say at all, it would be the noise generated by the rooms above you. And easy way to defeat this would be to always request a 3rd floor room at this hotel.”

• Room was spacious, roomy, clean.
• Not very close to the highway.

“I didn't check in until late, probably 2.am., so being off the highway it was frustrating to find in the dark. Probably 15 min. off the highway. But the room was amazing. Large, roomy, wish I stayed longer than 2 days!!”

• The customer service was outstanding. The hot buffet breakfast included was terrific.
• Can't think of anything.

“We were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room, and full kitchen facilities in our room. The staff were extremely friendly and just waiting to please. They offered information about town without having to ask.”

• It is a suite, with a kitech and a bar counter, very conveneient for eating.
• The refrigerator makes loud noise! the room is close to a elevator and could hear all the noise.

• Good location, decent breakfast, prompt service.
• Room smelled like fried food.

“Overall, we were pretty happy with the choice of the hotel. Had full kitchen, sofa/living room space - kind of an alcove studio space. We liked the included breakfast selection (cold and hot) and the waffle maker. Wished we had more time to enjoy the pool and the gym - which is one of the reason we were happy with the hotel selection. The only problem was the smell in the room - we had housekeeping come to use febreeze but it continued to smell like fried food (onion rings or some fast food). We weren't overly concerned as it was tolerable and since we had already unpacked and were tired from the 6-7 hour drive, we didn't bother asking for another room.”

• Room furniture was worn and stained. TV was old.

TV a bit dated and worn. Shower did not drain very well.”

• I enjoyed staying in the Residence - very spacious with a separate living area and bedroom. Very large dressing area with mirrors.
• The sofa and chair in the living area was dated and worn.

“The hotel was centrally located to the campus, shopping and restaurants. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and the hot breakfast buffet was a plus.”
