• Very large, very clean & comfortable room.
• Didn't like the bathroom setup and no microwave.

“Hotel has a very nice lobby and free parking which is a plus. The room was big with 2 beds and a nice chair & ottoman. It was also a nice bonus that the hotel offered free wireless access. The only thing I didn't like was there was no microwave and also that the sink and mirror was no in the bathroom.”

“The Courtyard By Marriott Hotel was clean, well-appointed and conveniently located. The room was quiet and beds were very comfortable. The staff was professional and friendly.”

• Immaculate and outstanding customer service.
• Nothing.

“The cleanliness of the hotel is amazing. The staff really stands out from other hotels. I was so pleased with the accommodations but was really overwhelmed with pleasure by how hard the cleaning staff works and how proud they are of their hotel. Front desk was outstanding too!”

• Extremely friendly and courteous staff.
• Bed springs were much weaker in the middle.

“Sharp, clean from inside and outside, including the landscaping. We had an appointment at Penn State the next day, so we arrived late the day before; our late arrival was no problem. Very friendly and extremely courteous and helpful staff. I requested toiletries from housekeeping early the next morning and they arrived in less than two minutes! Check out was a breeze.”

• I was allowed to check in early.
• No continental breakfast for the guests, only a buffet.

“My fiancee and I arrived earlier than the 3pm check-in and were allowed to check in. First time at a Courtyard, very nice, very clean. Will definitely try to stay at Courtyards in the future.”

• Wonderfully dark room, with huge comfortable bed; very clean in general throughout.
• Hmm. that I had to leave? That's a bit overdramatic, but really not far from the mark.

“The hotel was very clean, the staff was polite and attentive, the room was big and comfortable and quiet and dark and cool. All in all, a wonderful place to spend a night - absolutely fabulous night's sleep.”

• Very clean, friendly & helpful staff, great location with pool & hot tub.
• TV reception not the best for some stations. Bed a little too soft.

“The room and hotel itself was very neat and clean with great indoor pool and hot tub. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is just minutes from the PSU campus.”

• Very nice pool area, great business center, rooms have balconies.
• Slightly off the beaten path location.

• Staff at check in was very helpful.
• It is not made obvious that breakfast is not included.

“Nice hotel, nice staff, good location, reasonable price. I was a bit miffed about the breakfast. The setup at Courtyard does not make it obvious that this is an extra charge. If fact, I feel it does the opposite making it appear like other hotels - complimentary. Once you sit down or just serve yourself a server appears. Also, it is significantly over priced for the type of food provided.”
